I still have my first pair of VH skates with the carbon fiber toe cap, and I took this picture of what holds the velcro strip to the toe cap. It's an 8-32 thread.

Correct. Which is why you rarely see the new Bauer tongues being used at the Pro level vs retail. I remember some kids coming into the store and one of them played for Team USA U18 National Team. He hadn't been into a typical retail store in a year or so. His first reaction to a lot of stuff was "GOD, THAT IS UGLY" or "HOW COULD ANYONE SKATE WITH X or Y." It was quite entertaining.

Saw the helmet; dismantled it even. When I was at Total Hockey we had a manager summit in 2015 in which all brands were present.

Second year doing this - Helping Through Hockey. Donations and raffles support Survivors of Abuse in Recovery (aka SOAR). Always like the mix of sports and charity and try to do it as often as I can. First pick is from the Inaugural Event (June 2018) This pick is from last month (June 1, 2019). With the colors, it was easy for me to go with my Pittsburgh SummerJam mitts and shell haha.

A couple shots from our tournament in Vegas two weekends ago... the Knights practice facility is awesome. We lost 2-1 in OT in the championship game but still had a great time. Team pic. The majority of us have been playing together since we were 14 years old... we are all in our 40's now. Team name is Hammer Team, in memory of our friend (last name was Hammer) who passed away in 2012 from cancer. He loved Crown Royale, so their logo is represented in our logo 🙂
