They changed their naming pattern to match what Bauer is doing. Model Name Pro is the top tier, Model Name is the 2nd tier. AS2 is now the tier that the 9080 was, the same way that the 2S is what the 190 was. AS2 Pro and 2S Pro are their respective top tier model. I’m curious to see if Warrior will follow suit, their “pro” label is currently the 2nd tier.

D and C aren't heel widths. AAA/AA/A/B are heel widths. A standard boot is D/A. D in the forefoot and A in the heel. I'm pretty sure CCM can make a AA heel because it was an option on my custom FT1's and I was told they are C/AA. They are pretty narrow.

There are 2 widths you can get in a skate, the forefoot width and the heel width. Retail skates have a set heel width which is why the sizing is only D or E, customs can be ordered with a separate forefoot width and heel width (or should be able to eg Bauer custom ordering process where you specify the heel width you want).

It depends on the manufacturing process. The traditional True1 method is still done in Mexico. That factory is only set up to make that particular style of stick. The SL and Fantom sticks are made differently, and are made in China because of that.
