I have the Tacks girdle, too. I just snipped the little diaper that attaches the legs to the rear, and boom! Wraparound girdle.

I have FT4 Pros and swapped the standard tongues for the XS ones without issue, the "posts" were tough to get through the holes (which is good since it keeps them in place better) but it didn't seem like anything else was out of whack. Maybe JBP is onto something with the wrong size tongue but even then I'd imagine the spacing would be standard regardless of sizes (I would imagine some guys who like flop might opt for the larger tongue?). For reference, I have a size 7.5 skate and got the medium XTRA tongue, I measured the posts and they're 1" apart center to center.

Gauthier needs a fly lite holder for his head. Or just get rid of Blais.

And if you listened to the Bauer marketing spiel (youtu.be/I7iCxCk8nHo) that seemed all straight forward enough until you actually tried the skates on. From the horse's mouth, a fit 1 was close to a Vapour D - what a joke that was. At least Bauer have recognised this and made changes to the fit line with the Mach release.

The only thing I think that might have happened is that you purchased the wrong size tongue for your skate size... CCM TONGUE SIZE CHART XS 1-3.5 S 4-5.5 M 6-7.5 L 8-9.5 XL 10-12.5

At your size, I'd opt for intermediate. Getting equipment that fits properly would be more beneficial in terms of protection. The savings in cost is a bonus.

I noticed that Fox had the flylite holders on tonight and looking at pics he had them the other night as well, the skates are also new for him as he was in an older Supreme earlier. Judging by the past 2 games I think the new wheels are working well.
