Custom Glove Gallery (questions and answers)
DolomaticDangles replied to elpresidente99's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
I've never seen the logo come off, but Warrior said is it's partially due to the fact that the two R's in Warrior look weird with certain patterns (like the racing stripes). I had the Pro series last year and the embroidered logo got pretty torn up. I think the printed logo holds up better -
Idiots trying to scam me on eBay. Ran an auction for 5 days and i have to redo it. That's 2 in the last two weeks. I never had any issues in the last 6 years. Just an unnecessary pain in the ass

After he uploaded the picture of his 20+ Modano Dolomites, I cringe when I think about how big the whole collection is lol
-
Nice gloves! Is that navy or black?
-
Thanks cam. They were in my basement so I was just wondering what they were
-
Anyone know what model these are?
-
Yeah and then if you wanted you could make that gray stripe white carbon.
-
I think a silver leather pinky stripe and cuff (not cuff roll) would be cool. But those look nice
-
Love that S4

Agreed.

Thats weird, I moved a year ago to Delafield, but I lived right off of Pewaukee lake and I never knew about that. But Ill only be 17 so that sucks. Why wouldnt they just make it 16-24?
-
Is there an age limit for the tourney? edit: nevermind I found it, 21 that sucks. Especially since Im a few hours a way and some guys from my high school team would've entered

2010 Warrior Dolomite Spyne LH Flex:70 Curve:Draper Backround: 6'0" 135 pounds, on the ice 3+ times a week. Other sticks used: TPS R8,CCM U+ CL, Dolomite DD, Warrior Kronik to name a few Usage: Around 12 sessions Aesthetics: I love the graphics on this stick, much much better then the 2009 Dolomite Spyne. It looks really clean and simple, but at the same time you can appreciate the detail if you look at it up close. 10/10 Weight and Balance: Its not the lightest stick on the market, but its very well balanced. I have a 3' wood plug in and the balance point is right between dolomite and spyne. Could be lighter, but no big issues here. 9/10 Blade: I love Warrior blades. It takes a little getting used to at first, but I love the feel of the blade. The blade is still extremely stiff after about 12 ice times. I cant really tell a difference between the DD blade and last years HD blade, the DD might have a little better feel.No complaints. 9.5/10 Shaft/Flex: I love the shaft, the concave walls make it feel super nice in my hands. It feels a little stiffer then a 65 flex S19, about the same as an XN10 whip. It has not gotten any whippier since I got it. 10/10 Stickhandling and Passing: At first passing feels really pingy, the puck bounces off the blade, but after a few minutes of passing in warmups I pretty much adjusted to it. Stickhandling is great, its a nice light stick and like I said before, the feel is awesome, so 9.5/10 Shooting: I couldn't shoot for my life with the U+CL, it felt very akward. Shooting is where this stick is really awesome. The Spyne technology in the blade is unreal, I think my shots are much more consistent with it, and it has awesome kick. It's a 70 flex so I have no trouble loading it up on wristers. I don't really take slapshots, but on the few occasions I have, its had good velocity. 10/10 Durability: Nothing has happened yet, none of the chrome paint has chipped which is surprising, there is a yellow paint mark from a nasty slash, but nothing else 10/10 Conclusion: Awesome stick, definitely an improvement over the 2009 Spyne which felt unbalanced and heavy to me. Warrior definitely did an awesome job with the upgrade, and I'm sure it will improve again for 2011. 9.5/10

That takes guts to stand up to your friend like that man, you did the right thing.

R8s are awesome, they have great kick. You'll love it!

We had to put down my dog, Ziggy, in September. She was only 7. I miss her so much.

They didnt have the flex I wanted, but of course he convinced me to get the 85 flex and he gave it to me for $75. It feels a bit boxy, and its too stiff for me, but it actually does have pretty good feel, and my dad used it for a whole season and there are no durability issues. Its a pretty good deal if I got one in my flex. I'd rather get closeouts of last years Warriors or TPS R8 though

my main stuff, missing my U+ CL and R8 stick... fyi: the bubble shield is a joke for summer league

So yesterday, this guy on Craigslist agreed to sell me his black X60s for $270 because he got hurt at work and they'd only been used like 7 times. Then he calls me up today and says "Ive thought about it long and hard, and I just cant let these go for $270." So I agreed to go back to his original price, $300. Then he decides that he's going to keep them, just in case he can ever play hockey again." During this I was offered brand new S17s for $225 but I passed them up because I was getting these. Then I go to hockey tonight with a bubble just for fun, it didnt have a chin strap but its just shooting so no one hits or anything. So on a 1-on-1 drill, I shoot, the goalie saves it, then Im skating behind him, and he turns and punches me in the face like a douchebag, cuts my chin open. FUN DAY BRAHH
