  1. Alright I've been using the Synergy II blade for a couple weeks now. It feels just wierd. I don't know how to describe it. Its hard to catch passes because it so hard, but at the same time its hard to get a good shot off because it feels so soft. My slapshot sucks with this thing, even though its the same curve, so I am used to the curve. I can never really get anything on it I probably sound like retarded right now, but it is just awkward. The blade is starting to feel all around soft actually now, so idk.
  2. Those gloves are absolutely hideous imo.
  3. How do you like the Synergy II blade. I just ordered one off of epuck and I'm not sure what to expect.
  4. I just ordered the Synergy II blade from E-Puck. Should be here around Wednesday. I'll write a review after I use it.

    RBK 8K Helmet

Product- Rbk 8k Fitlite size Medium, Navy blue. Cage Used- CCM 480 size medium. Fit-When I tried this helmet on for the first time, it felt amazing. I had a Bauer 5000 size small, which hurt my head right above my ears. I decided to go one size up, which was a great choice. The padding is very comfortable as well. The microdial didn't really do much. The stabilizer things would but get pushed back down right as the helmet was put on. The toolless adjustment system was great. No complaints at all. 10/10 Protection- Good but not great. If I get hit in the head at all, I definately feel it, but no injuries have happened yet (knocks on wood.) 9/10 Weight-What weight? Amazingly light. Can't even feel it on my head. 10/10 Durability-I have heard numerous complaints of the composite sub shell becoming loose, but nothing like this has happened yet to mine. I got this for Christmas so I will need to check back in about a month. 10/10 for now -EDIT-After about a year of use the thing is still in great shape. It scratches easily but other than that it has been soid. The composite subshell hasn't come loose either. Intangibles-Pricey. $140 for a helmet is very expensive, but I was lucky enough to be given one. I love the look of this helmet too. Goes perfect with my team's colors (navy blue and silver.) :P Conclusion- I had been wearing a 5000 for about 3 years until I got this. Definately a light helmet, fits great. The only problem is they are expensive. If you are looking for a new helmet and have an extra $140 laying around, go for it. Final Grade 9.75/10
  7. Definitely love the fit on them, don't like the fact that I've had em for 2.5 months on the ice about once a week and the palms are starting to show wear. They will show wear but they shouldn't get any holes in them for a while. K good because I was worried about that.
  8. Liking the XXX gloves. Just got a pair myself.
  9. I only have one pair too
  10. Because the 800c is composite and the 900 isn't.
  11. Also, the new Stealth CNT is listed at 410 grams. Is it really heavier or did they lie a little bit less about the weight? Also I like how in the picture of the Synergy II with the Synergy II blade, they have the grip one with the shaft put in with the warranty info up. Idk why but I think its funny.
  12. Thank the lord that the intermediates have something inbetween a Sakic and Forsberg! I like the look of everything. Thanks guys!!!

    Easton Z-Bubble

Background: 5'4" 115 pounds Shaft: Easton Z-Bubble 50 flex Test Blades: Easton Z-Carbons, Easton Ultra Lite, various woodies. Initial Impressions: I got this shaft for Christmas when I was about 11 in replacement for my Ultra Carbon, so I was obviouslty excited. Weight/Balance: Its listed at 200 grams and when I paired it with a Z Carb, it was so light and balanced. It felt like crap with the Easton Ultra lite and wood blades, so I was using it with a Z Carbon for about a year. 9/10 (Extremely light and balanced, but only with a Z Carbon) Shooting, Passing, Stickhandling: Stickhandling was no problem for me, passes were good, but shots were amazing. They flew off of the stick. At the time, but slapper sucked because i was only 11, but my wrist shot was amazing. 9/10 Durability: No problems at all with this. I've had it for about 4 years and it is still going strong. I use just in the driveway at the moment, but its fine. 10/10 Conclusion: This shaft is great if you find a good blade for it. I highly recommend a Z Carbon with this shaft, because anything else feels blade heavy. The durability is awesome, and the shots are rockets. 9.5/10
  14. Easton Stealth

Product- Easton Stealth Int 65 Flex RH Sakic Curve Background- 5'4" 115 lbs. Blade- The blade is pretty stiff on this stick which I like. I think that the feel is amazing on the Stealth, and I was coming from a Si-Core which I loved, but this topped it. I have only used this stick 2 times or so, and I am still adjusting to the pattern, but it feels amazing right now. 10/10 Shaft- The dimensions are smaller, which I love. I was coming from a Junior, and was afraid it might feel way to wide, but it felt great. 10/10 Stickhandling/Recieving Passes- The blade felt a lot harder than the Si-Core of course and stickhandling and recieving passes felt awkward at first, but now I love it. 10/10 Shooting- Of course, its amazing. The puck just jumps off of the stick. My slapshot is so much faster now, and my snapshot is amazing witht his baby. 10/10 Weight/Balance- This stick is pretty light, but that's just because I am coming from a Junior. It feels pretty well balanced. It feels just a little blade heavy, but thats okay. 9/10 Durability- I just bought this stick last night, but it still is fine. Of course there is the ever so popular paint chipping, but hey, what can ya do. I will report back after more use. 10/10 (For right now. Used it twice) EDIT-I have been using the stick for about a month and a half I think, and it is still amazing. The paint chipping is getting worse, but I don't really care about that. -EDIT AGAIN-My Stealth just broke after 2 months of use, which is rediculous for a $200 stick. I won't be using Easton sticks for a while now. Conclusion- If you want to spend $200 on a stick that will last for 2 months than go for this stick. I would highly suggest the TPS Response XN10 instead. Performance IMO is just as good, if not better than the Stealth, and after all, it 50+ $ less expensive. Overall- 10/10 If you want a strictly performance stick. If you are looking for a stick to last a while, then don't go for this.
  16. Those gloves are beautiful, and my team colors! Wow I might have to get those.
  17. Update: Skates-Mission AMP Flyweights Sticks-Synthesis with hybrid blade.
  18. I have realized that too. I also skate better when all of my stuff is damp. I have no idea why, but i just do.

    Easton Si-Core

Product:Easton SyNergy Si-Core 50 Flex Righthanded Yzerman. Background-5'3" 110 pounds. Blade-This blade has slightly improved feel from the original SyNergy. The blade was stiff when I got it but softened up. I had two and the first one broke on the heel of the blade in about 2 weeks. On the next one, I've had it for about 3 months and its still going strong. 8/10 Flex-I've used 50 flex for a while so no problem here. No difference than the normal SyNergy. 10/10 Stickhandling/Feel-This stick had pretty good feel and I got used to it quickly. I could stickhandle alot quicker with the increased feel of this blade. 10/10 Weight/Balance-This stick was pretty well balanced and felt alot lighter than my previous silver SyNergy. It was a little blade heavy but overall it was good. 9/10 Durablility-The durability was an issue on my first one, but on the second it was fine. There was occasional paint chipping but that no problem for me. 8/10 Shooting/Performance-This was a good shooting stick, but the puck didn't "jump" off of the blade as well as a normal SyNergy. I had an OK slapper, but a great wristshot with this stick. 9/10 Overall-This is a great stick. Great feel and pretty good shooting. The only issue was durability, but besides that, this stick is very good. Final score- 9/10
