One shop in my area is charging $15 for a FBV sharpening. I'll try it out when the summer season starts.

They are closer to X70's. The ones I have have the name "ASHLEY" on the inside of the flap thingy. Usually names are on the outside.

When I started out in net a few years back, I had the 6.2 series of goalie equipment (Thanks Chadd!). I liked the pads and blocker a lot. For the price point at that time, it was a lot better than the competition. I hated the trapper though.

These gloves have goat palms and goat backhand pad. No lock thumb.

I use them because it gives me consistency when switching between so many sticks!!! I started out years ago with them and never switched out. I guess I'm just used to them. Why? Because I used to play 4 nights a week and I like to try stuff out. Plus I'm not the type to ask a billion questions about a product. I read up what I can and try it out myself. If I don't like it, I sell it to teammates or their friends. As you can see, I end up not selling much! But I have a tendency to stock up on stuff I like, hence the Eagle OPS and not pictured, XN10 shafts (Redlite and R2 XN10). You should see my glove collection. Then I started playing in net, so I have goalie junk too. I blame this all on joining the Easton board, migrating to CB, and now to MSH!!! I've actually been a long time member, but I hardly post.

I have a pro return Nilson XN10 and it is a whip flex. I shot around with a pro return Nilson XXX Lite and it was a 77 flex. I'm assuming it is the same Nilson. Is yours a RH stick? The blade shape is more rectangular (equal height throughout the blade), than say a Drury retail, which is gets a little fatter towards the tip of the blade.
