  1. I don't remember which thread, but I swear there was some discussion on this here, maybe a year or so ago, maybe less.
  2. Well, I hope your personal damage isn't lasting.
  3. Knowing you, I have to wonder if you're talking about your next date.
  4. Good for you, though I'm not wishing the Sharks luck. I'm in TN through Saturday, and can't even watch the next 3 Blackhawks games on TV.
  5. I don't know how unusual this is, but that's the first reasonable price I remember seeing on those. I might get one for a backup. I wear my cup over compression shorts with velcro, and don't care about garters.
  6. I see 3K, 4K, 6K, 10K with garters, for some reason no 8K, maybe because of that fit system.
  7. And why does Reebok keep these products from what should be a good-sized market?
  8. Not at retail. And I'm curious why some folks prefer that to the 10K.
  9. Cold. Makes me wonder if there's something else going on behind the curtain.
  10. Glad you got a payoff for the time you put in.
  11. You need to get tickets more often, to familiarize yourself with the system. I ran across something like that a long time ago, don't remember if it was traffic or parking tickets. Annoying.
  12. Sorry, my ignorance of Canadian law is overwhelming. My only exposure to it is here. Regarding the economics, vacation time won't affect current cash flow, but it's worth money, too -- wouldn't they have to pay you for it at retirement or termination? Good luck.
  13. Two considerations come immediately to mind: 1. Where did this occur, and what options are normally offered? Where I live, for example, there are situations where you can get off with a fine, but won't have a conviction on your record. 2. How do the economics work for you? Loss of a half day's pay and a lower fine vs. a higher fine, and the change in insurance rates each way.
  14. Often it seems more important to a tailgater that you move, than that he gets by. How many times do we see a tailgater in the left lane, staying in position, when a lane is wide open to the right? That's not someone who's really in a hurry; that's someone who needs to make someone else do what he wants.
  15. I didn't address the propriety of hitting the brakes. As to "let them by": How about they just back off and leave a safe following distance? So many times the tailgated driver is moving with traffic, with a line of cars in front of him, with nowhere for anyone to go. How about a bit of patience and safety? Are you really attempting to justify unsafe driving, and shift the blame to the driver who's being tailgated?
  16. It's not great, but if they don't tailgate, the situation isn't possible. Neither is a pile-up. Safe following distance, please. You'll do the same speed as the guy ahead of you at a safe distance that you will on his tail. And if he's moving with traffic, there's nowhere ahead for either of you to go.
  17. There's also a superfluous "=" there, and "]" before ". And the code is underlined like it's hyperlinked, maybe posted as a link instead of an image.
  18. Here's a thread on posting pix: http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php?/topic/32356-how-do-i-post-a-picture/page__view__findpost__p__448297
  19. Hope you had a good time; sorry I missed you. I didn't get home until late Saturday.
  20. That sucks, but it sounds as if the marriage had to have been going downhill first, for this situation to occur. I can't see it happening to a guy who's still nuts about his wife.
  21. What troy said. I don't think this guy will understand you're serious until you stop him. And why is it your sticks, rather than any other teammates'?
