I tried one of these for one game. Hated the feel. Like it was digging into my thighs the entire game. Moved to a new Bauer short w/ shock doctor cup and couldn't be happier.

For the price I paid for these things, I had to give them a try. I almost bought a pair of Nexus 400s when they came out. I'm just amazed at how soft these are.
-
Thats amazing! Congrats!
-
SHOCKED that a retail store would have that size in stock. Hell, most of the time the retail stores lack the more obscure sizes, like 9D.
-
I'm going to have to get fitted unfortunately, so no way am I going to be able to pre-order :(
-
They're available for preorder now too
-
Correct!
-
Can't wait to try these babies out!

JR, what was the name of the Blackstone guy at WF?
-
I was SHOCKED that I won them. S2K?

I dont even play for a team with these colours anymore, but since I'd been looking forever for a pair of Bauer Supremes in these colours I figured I'd better jump on them. Unfortunately they are One90s instead of One95s, but that's okay :)

Ah yea makes sense then. In order to see why they promote forward flex, you'd need to try flexing them forwards ;) -
2013 Easton Hockey Catalogue

Depends on which direction you tried to flex them. They're specifically made to only flex in one direction. So if you tried to flex them outward, yea, they'd be super stiff. -
Those are gorgeous.

My wife was supposed to get home last night. Flight cancelled. Shes back at the airport just now.. flight already delayed. Feel bad for our cats at home with empty bowls (since I've been gone since Monday)

When I found out they had discounted them, I decided to give them a shot. Also got my DT1 from Kovalchuk71:

Fit: Fits very well in my Re-Akt. The only issue is that is slightly large and so it sticks to the inner foam of the helmet, not just the Suspend-tech liner. I imagine the adhesive isn't strong enough to prevent the liner from doing what it's supposed to do during an impact. Protection: Works extremely well. Normally I'm sticking my fingers into my cage to wipe sweat off my nose. I get almost none on my face now with these. Weight: Can't even tell it's there. Durability: As acapt91 said, the company recommends a single use, but I have had no problem going 3 games with them in. After that, they begin to peel off. Intangibles: I've always had issues with helmets not fitting correctly. In the case of my Re-Akt, it's pretty much perfect, except that it seems to irritate the area where my hairline is. With the no-sweat applied, I no longer get that irritation. Bonus! Conclusion: These things are fantastic, and absolutely worth the price (which is crazy low, in reality.) I just wish they sold them in larger packs (10+). I'm absolutely going to continue using these.

Not hockey equipment, but I thought it was worth showing off. Can't wait to read it!

2013 Bauer Hockey Catalogue
IPv6Freely replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2013 Product Catalogue Reviews
No, same tightness. They just seemed to have pressure points in odd places when you made your hand into a fist. Kind of like when you try on another brand of gloves, close your hand once, and take the glove off immediately because you know you dont like it. It didn't feel like a Supreme. However, Bauer has told me that the retail model will be a bit different from the trial pair that was on display at Winterfest, so I promised to try them on again in the store once they're out and give them an update.
