2013 Easton Hockey Catalogue
IPv6Freely replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2013 Product Catalogue Reviews
Bauers top end skates are all about $800 also. -
I drove the non-turbo cooper as a rental once. Was gutless, as you'd expect. But you could really tell that the turbo version would be a whole hell of a lot of fun. They're also made by BMW (you can tell by some of the recycled interior parts). I'd drive one.

Do you think somebody in a pair of Nexus might fit into these things? I'm not sure how the fit compares.
-
DROP THE DAMN PUCK! My god linesmen are getting on my nerves this season.
-
My hockey bag fits. That's all that matters, right? :)
-
I guess I can see that. Though a whole hell of a lot better than they were prior to 2012.
-
Same as projekts from the wrist down (I prefer the koncept cuff) Similar in look to the luxe from what I can tell. Similar in fit if I recall also.
-
True, though to be fair he DID say there would be another video after he's had a chance to test them out. The above was just an "unboxing" video (that seems to be a common thing with new products these days).
-
That sucks. I've never actually watched any of his reviews before, just his skating tutorial videos, since I can't skate.
-
Ah, good ol' American healthcare system! Could easily be the topic of a long post in this thread...
-
^ That guys skating videos are fantastic. VERY helpful. (though his editing skills leave something to be desired - often repeating himself despite an edit) These things look friggin fantastic.
-
Love these. I wish they did custom Koncept, though the Luxe is a fairly similar fit. Tempting.
-
Yea they did a really good job with the EQ50 skate, looks-wise.
-
Ugh on my way back to New Jersey for two weeks.
-
I'm more than happy. Same engine as the 335i but in a smaller sportier body. Part of me says to grow up into an adults car, but these things are just too damn FUN. Like I mentioned earlier, once my student loan is gone I have the OK from the wife for the M3 :) She traded in her 2011 Subaru Outback for the X1. She seems pretty happy so far. We'll miss the cargo capacity and the AWD but.. oh well.
-
I was actually REALLY impressed by the X1. Reviews are all good, too. That's actually my second 135i. Had a 2008, this is a 2012.
-
Very weird color combo on those supremes...
-
Just got home from the dealer to get my wife a new vehicle. Hers on the left, mine on the right. (Sorry for the dark picture, it was night time)
-
Yea that part is unfortunate. It's okay except for the swirly shapes.
-
One of the nicest looking skates on the market, in my opinion.
-
Thanks!
-
It may be silly to post about something I don't have yet... but I've just gotten the go-ahead to buy my M3! (Well, once I have my student loans paid off, so about two years or so - which is probably perfect timing for my lease on my 135i to be up)
-
I tried one of these for one game. Hated the feel. Like it was digging into my thighs the entire game. Moved to a new Bauer short w/ shock doctor cup and couldn't be happier.
-
For the price I paid for these things, I had to give them a try. I almost bought a pair of Nexus 400s when they came out. I'm just amazed at how soft these are.
-
Thats amazing! Congrats!
