  1. It loses it's mirror effect due the honing stone. Using a 440 grit stone will help bring it back or maintain the finish.
  2. Only if you/your sharpener has a 440 grit finish stone. I wouldn't say that. Around here the shop with the crook for an owner, no selection and high prices has the FIT system in place and the legit shop with the good prices doesn't. Fear not, since he's in Mn he also thinks that pants are called breezers. ;)
  3. They may be, but the flatter the hollow the more advantages are apparent with the FBV.
  4. Stick collection is at the bottom of 740 btw.
  5. Yep- Avery Dolo with Spyne graphics And a Begin U+ CL. Dolo is the same they've been since they were 1100's ie durable and dependable.
  6. Yep, been seing it on the NHL network the last week or two.
  7. Yeah, you still need to sell those to me. ;)
  8. Gloves too eh? Hasn't been updated in a LONG time, but I'm up to about 50-55 pair now. Takes 3 full size hockey bags to house the lot. ;)
  9. Cleaning up the spare room for a visator. This isn't from the storage unit, just what was laying around in the 1 room FYI. I've also had requests to post a pic of my ghetto blaster from back in the day. Yes, that is a turntable on the front. Sharp VZ2000
  10. You not playing third seems like a crime.
  11. Try Ballglovewarehouse.com- awesome selection and a 100 day return policy even if it's used. I ordered a Nokona Bloodline mitt and they recommended I try a Rawlings Pro-Preferred 2-tone mitt as well. Said to break them in and return whichever I didn't love, and if neither worked to Return both and keep trying until I was happy. Awesome experience all-around and I don't even have a mitt yet.
  12. Ordered a Bloodline 1B glove- waiting on it to be delivered as we speak. Been using a deer Gide Nokona pitchers glove since '97 regularly if that gives you any idea of the quality. As long as you keep them lubed with their glove conditioner (which is more like Vaseline than oil) they last forever. Plus, one of the last American made gloves- that's worth something in my book.
  13. The Fairhill School. Played for Clark, Shepton, and PSHS though. I hated football, but I was damn good at it- just realized that passion with something you like is more of a virtue than skill at something you hate.
  14. Kudos to the 2nd baseman from Chula,Ca giving the batter from Taiwan (I will not call them Chinese Taipei thank you) a smile and a high five for a home run. Good to know that some people still have sportsmanship and don't always see the score as the sole learning experience from a game.
  15. Don't perpetuate the stereotype :). Fuck football. Hell, my high school didn't even have a football team.
  16. Meh, not much has changed lately.
  17. Eh, he's new. Don't do it again BTW please.
  18. When they're that cheap and only have 1 pic, I'm imagining the smell of a wet dead hooker.
  19. Even at 99 cents, I just couldn't do them.
  20. Trap-Eze. I wondered the same.
  21. Went over to look at them today. Nice glove, but I think I'm going to order another custom Nokona.
