  1. Your hands seem really high up on on the stick in the first pic, maybe it's just the angle. 2nd pic reminds me of I guy I once saw who used close to 10mins to make the word "FU*K" look perfect on his blade using black tape...
  2. Find it amazing that they film your local games. Liked the goalies response to the second goal, good stuff haha.
  3. ok thanks, I never knew that a major dip brand was called Copenhagen... Weird it's called Copenhagen and not Stockholm (or something similar) since dip is waaaaaaaaay more used in Sweden than in Denmark from what I can recall.
  4. #44wannabe: Great uni, like the color scheme and design. Btw what's up with your qoute "Copenhagen is the way forward" ?
  5. FatAndSlow: Thx but I don't think that info will help. I've e.g. measured size 4 og size 5 Red Star Alloys against each other, and they are exactly the same size in that part of the frame you've measured, but the 5's mounting plate was longer and wider.
  6. FatAndSlow: Usually Red Star mark their frames with a number somewhere on the mountingplate.
  7. Sweet. On a related note I'm conteplating buying the aftermarket vanguard (which I can see you already did). Does anybody know what mounting plate will be bigger. a size 5 Red Star frame or a size Medium Vanguard?
  8. I'm more curious about how many good young prospects he blew up through his course in LA, 2 guy's coming through the wire in Frolov and Camalleri don't seem like an impressive number.
  9. Damm I'm feeling alot better about my 9stick collection, that I still want to shrink down. Mission Ion 100flex Broken Z-bubble with an Oggie Grip in it. Broken v10.0 taper shaft with a little wood pliug in it. CCM V110 OPS stiff flex #5 curve 2xBauer One80 102flex 2xRbk Sickick Taper shafts Stiff flex (are real 100flexes) Ballistik Caliber 52 Taper shaft 95flex. Since Ballistik is hands-down the best shaft I've ever used, and I've used all top models from everybrand (xn10 was closest but shitty durability), I'm starting to pay less atention to the fact if a piece of gear is a no-name brand or not. Usually I'd didn't care if it was Bauer/CCM/Easton/Mission, but it had to be a well known brand. Now I'm thinking I'm gonna pick of a pair of Fury Gloves (traditional) as they seem very nice, and the only thing (previously) holding me back has been the name on the cuff...
  10. LOL Mayers gets 14mins of icetime in one game... But lacking offensive output they give Perron 3mins in the latest. Weird stuff.
  11. Man your stick seems really short. Must be an annoying team to play against btw ;-)
  12. Still no converted Kor shift 2's?... damm I'm gonna end up doing them just because nobody else bothered... lol.
  13. Dman: Love the jersey. Besides that it's always nice to see teams that don't play in standard uncrested NHL jerseys with their own logo.
  14. Don't hate on Mayers, his a good all-round player. But I understand the notion that the top-players should get more ice time than him.
  15. Which game did he score this "amazing goal" in?? just saw highlights from the blues-wild game and his goal (2nd of the season) was "just" a long-range wrist shot, great shot but no deking are anything special about it at the nhl level... (plus sombody posted something with him over the crossbar???) Keept thinking he'd pot an amazing goal later based on the posts in this thread... then in ot he gets the puck on a 2on2.... this is it I think... but instead of amazing he makes a drop pass to gaborik who goes directly the other way and scores the OT winner... LOL
  16. Great Pics JR. Regarding somebody beeing able to sell that stick on ebay I can already se the post in the ebay idiots thread... "PRO-STOCK NHL game ready David Perron stick, autographed and given to his personal friend Jeremy Roenick of the San Jose Sharks, extremely rare and mint condition hockey stick"
  17. I had to go a few pages back to find what the fuzz was about, and I'd just like to say I completely second hehatemefrisbee's posts. People are way too bias, and act like he's their homeboy or something. I think it's fine that the few of you that actually know him personally do it, but for the rest of you he's nothing more than a guy who's posted on the same message board as you... And when exactly is the last time he posted? Alot of you bandwagon types probably weren't even members back then. Finally I'd like to say though I don't give a s**t about him beeing a former MSH member or not, I think his personal background story is exceptional and deserves all the attention it recieves.
  18. LOL Rollerball, I feel like I'm running down memory lane on acid... I'd definantly cry if I got beat 1on1 by a rollerball skater, amazing find!
  19. I hate phantom assists. In our league they only count the first assist, which is better IMO since it cuts down on phantom assists, plus it's a joke the second assist counts for a point and thus as much as a goal does, no wonder crosby was and will be the nhl scoring leader when half his assists are either second or phantom assists. Sometimes I fell like the NHL is actually trying to boost his numbers, so it fits in coherence with their marketing. RANT OVER. Sorry for my rant, but I get a little pissed off when reading posts like, e.g. Perron should get an assist because it hit his skate. Plus I read the thread the other day about parents boosting their kid's stats with phantom assists... This argueing about perron getting the second assist by beeing hit by the puck on his skate, just made my cup spill over... SECOND RANT over And finally, Perron played a great game!
  20. Those tacks are awesome! Never seen that model/color combo before.
  21. Would be awesome if you chipped away the labeda decals and paint, so it was all silver. Alot of work though.
  22. Dunno the MSRP but they are expensive. The blades are light and have good performance, but really shitty durability, I suggest to stay away from them. The 52se taper shaft I have is absolutely amazing, still going strong, super light and good pop on the shots. It's the best shaft I've ever had, and I've had top-end shafts from all major companies.
