  1. Still my favorit stick of all time. I still have 2 federovs and one Mogiliny. Clear/checkered all the way up. God I miss those.
  2. My new Vector Helmet; Thanks JR :D Modified Halo headband so I dont get sweat in my eyes. Works great for bald guys.
  3. Number21, nice mix and very classy style. Bucko; Love the gear, I always thought that the Vapor 10 and 8090's were the best looking Bauer skates to this day.
  4. Nice stick great curve.
  5. Do I dare ask whats with the vasoline and PS2 game control?
  6. I agree. Always loved the look of the G3/G5 skates.
  7. What will be the final color of the sticks? Will they stay with the Black/BLUE non-grip and black/Red grip?
  8. Black Toe would look pretty cool. Maybe some black laces to.
  9. Not a fan of black and white skates but these 709's are bad ass!!!
  10. Chadd, I just saw a picture of the MSH jerseys. Damn those look nice. The practice jerseys look great to.
  11. Protection These are as close to a perfect shin pad I could ask for. Great pading and protection. Taken more than a few slappers off of them with nothing to feel only hear the sound of the puck deflecting off. The calf wrap is awesome and can take even the meanest slash by a stick or a shot and not hurt. 10/10 Fit/Comfort Not bulky like the 8K but wide/deep enough to fit someone with thicker calves/shins. I found that after about 6-7 skates with these they mold to your shins and fit like a custom skate. No break in needed, they fit nicely over my skate with great Range Of Motion. Extreme comfort other than the straps that are removable (thank god). 9.5/10 Quality/Durability Every game I take these off and look for wear and damage. None to be spoken of yet. I have played 2 seasons in these now and cant say enough about the quality of them and now understand why so many pros where Jofa/RBK. 10/10 Conclusion These pads are good for any level of hockey and player position. I would pay $100.00 for these over the 8k/9k because of the fit alone. They look nice, protect great and feel AWESOME!! I have no idea why the stopped making these but if you can find them on line buy them and consider yourself lucky to make a great long term investment 10/10
  12. If your skates fit and perform well for you dont worry about it.
  13. They feel SSSSOOOOOOOOOOO Different!!! I would give any skate I have ever worn or tryed on for these. This is a skate like no other. I cant believe that this skate will not take over the NHL. It is so light that you cant help but think that it will break after your first skate. Kinda like the first time you picked up a composit stick and were affraid to take a slap shot because you dropped $150.00 on it which was comparable to around $250 back then. But the skate is as I said; the closest thing to a custom fit skate that you'll ever get. The ankle pads (pad lock) is awesome. There is no seam between the toe cap and outsole. The tongue is moldable as well with a great lacebite system. FYI, I bought a pair of felt tongues to put in these skates thinking I would need them. Now I'm sitting on a pair of $50.00 tongues because I wont need them. At least not with these skates. As a senior member here said; Easton got this skate right!!! I should also add that I'm 5'11 218lbs. and these take my weight and actually use it to my advantage.
  14. Nope just drill them a bit bigger. With that being said I didnt do it myself but thats what I was told. I also put Superfeet insoles in with the little heel lift you get with the S15 then baked them. When they say that you can wear these out of the box they arent kidding. But now they fit like a custom skate. At least to my foot. I suprisingly like the tongue as well.
  15. My new and old skates.
  16. It's called texalite. Whatever that means. Just another marketing term.
  17. Your right it's not a carbon outsole it's called something else. I cant remember what it is though. I wrote a thread on this asking what the diff was in performance. I think they went to this because of the issues they were having with the epoxy and the G series skates and it's probably cheaper to produce as well.
  18. These gloves never had a chance in the market and it's to bad. I did notice that the new RBK gloves have the same flexion on the lower part of the back roll for your grip. Lang still uses these as well.
  19. These are the best fitting gloves I have ever had. Pro stock Koho 4460 gloves. If anyone knows where I can get another pair of these PLEAE PM me with the info. Thanks in advance
  20. WOW WOW WOW!!! So pimp!!!
  21. JR, Sweet gloves. I remember you saying you were going to try and get them. Very nice. BTW; Do you know where I can either get the Nylon on my gloves either fixed or replaced? I got a couple of tears starting and dont want them to get any worse.
  22. How do you like the new strap system on the 9K's? Love your MIA gloves as well. the strap system is working quite well for me, even better than the 2 straps, which i was used to. Do you still use tape over your socks with the strap?
  23. How do you like the new strap system on the 9K's? Love your MIA gloves as well.
  24. Are all those sticks the same curve or different to find what you like best? My god I think I blow out a shoulder before killing all of those sticks.
  25. That looks like a Mogilny retail blade. My favorit.
