    Ft2

I’ve read that the heel is more narrow on the FT2 and someone who has used them said the same thing. Hockey Tutorial has a video on YouTube and they said the heel is wider on the FT2. It would be nice to know the truth, haha.
  2. I’m guessing you’ve used the 1st version. How would you compare the two? I tried the 2’s today and it felt like my foot was locked in more and a bit more comfortable.
  3. Does anyone have these? How do you like them? I have a pair and I’m wondering if I should re-bake my skates. I was using the 1st version before. The 2’s seems to be a bit thicker and I’m thinking my ankle/foot is sitting higher than before.
  4. I think it was Pure Hockey who weighed skates, gloves, helmets and sticks awhile back. The NXG’s were the lightest skates followed by the APX.
  5. Try using padded shirts. Lighter and better mobility than shoulder pads. That’s if you’re in a league with no body contact.
  6. Hopefully the tendon guard is more durable. Mine snapped the other night 😞.
  7. Vet88 has a lot of knowledge! Great guy to have around on these forums.
  8. I was a SF user for many years. I tried the original SP and never looked back. I should have the SP 2.0’s in a week or so and I’m pumped to try them. The energy transfer and balance are so good in the SP.
  9. I switched from Bauer to CCM last year. I’m happy with the FT1’s. The one piece boot is great. I didn’t really notice a difference between Tuuk and SB holders. I like the Hyperglide blades better than anything Bauer offers (haven’t tried LS5, though).
  10. Thanks. I might have to buy a pair when they’re released.
  11. They’re noticeably heavier than Superfeet. I know it doesn’t really make a difference, I just wanna know if the new SP’s are lighter.
  12. Did you notice if the 2.0 are lighter?
  13. Green shoots right, those look to be left? Are they Iginla 85 flex by chance? ;)
  14. How is the weight in these skates compared to the top of the line name brand skates?
  15. Helmet: Bauer 4500 Elbow: Bauer X:60 (old top of the line) Shin: Bauer Nexus 8000 Gloves: Warrior Franchise Skates: CCM Jetspeed FT1's Shoulder: None Pants: Tackla 9000Z Stick: Easton V9 Bag: Easton
  16. You can ship your skates to Bauer. This happened to a couple of guys on my hockey team. Even if it's out of warranty, but it will cost you.
  17. Great to hear! I like the Speed Plate's, too.
  18. No problem. Write back and let us know how you like them.
  19. I have the X7.0's and I switched to the Speed Plate's. I like them better than SF. They don't pitch you forward like the SF. I have never used stock footbeds. I wear a size 7 and I bought size 7 Speed Plate's and they fit good.
  20. I'm using Bauer X7.0 LE skates from 2011. I feel that the Carbon Pro Hockey Superfeet take up a bit more volume than the Yellow Superfeet. They feel different, though. I liked the Carbon Pro's better.
  21. I've been skating with these for a month, and they're awesome. I notice a difference than the Yellow version and I also notice they take up a tiny bit more volume than the Yellow's.
