  1. I think I’m experiencing the same problem. I have 6.5 FT1’s and sent my skates to a shop to put Tuuk Edge holders (263) on them. I received them and the mount on the left skate seems to be a bit further towards to the toe compared to the right skate. They’re not even, it seems a couple mm’s off. Am I going to notice a difference? It just throws me off, haha. I noticed on the right skate (heel), there is 6 new holes drilled, but on the left skate (heel), there is only 1 new hole drilled that I can see. I need to put up some pics, damn. I’m not sure how to post pics? Sorry!
  2. @Vet88 knows what he’s talking about. He has a lot of info and he has helped me before. The thing that helped me the most and was comfortable was to stop skating for just over a month (I iced the area every day) and let it heal. I now use a bunga (gel) pad on my left foot and have had no problems since. I tried using a bunga pad when the area was still sore and it didn’t work. You have to let it heal completely then start using a bunga pad.
  3. Yeah, I think so. I use a medium in the Bauer 4500 and bought (online) a V08 in medium and it’s too big.

    Ft2

I’ve read that the heel is more narrow on the FT2 and someone who has used them said the same thing. Hockey Tutorial has a video on YouTube and they said the heel is wider on the FT2. It would be nice to know the truth, haha.
  5. I’m guessing you’ve used the 1st version. How would you compare the two? I tried the 2’s today and it felt like my foot was locked in more and a bit more comfortable.
  6. Does anyone have these? How do you like them? I have a pair and I’m wondering if I should re-bake my skates. I was using the 1st version before. The 2’s seems to be a bit thicker and I’m thinking my ankle/foot is sitting higher than before.
  7. Hopefully the tendon guard is more durable. Mine snapped the other night 😞.
  8. Thanks. I might have to buy a pair when they’re released.
  9. They’re noticeably heavier than Superfeet. I know it doesn’t really make a difference, I just wanna know if the new SP’s are lighter.
  10. Did you notice if the 2.0 are lighter?
  11. Green shoots right, those look to be left? Are they Iginla 85 flex by chance? ;)
  12. How is the weight in these skates compared to the top of the line name brand skates?

  14. You can ship your skates to Bauer. This happened to a couple of guys on my hockey team. Even if it's out of warranty, but it will cost you.
  15. Great to hear! I like the Speed Plate's, too.
  16. No problem. Write back and let us know how you like them.
  17. I have the X7.0's and I switched to the Speed Plate's. I like them better than SF. They don't pitch you forward like the SF. I have never used stock footbeds. I wear a size 7 and I bought size 7 Speed Plate's and they fit good.
  18. I'm using Bauer X7.0 LE skates from 2011. I feel that the Carbon Pro Hockey Superfeet take up a bit more volume than the Yellow Superfeet. They feel different, though. I liked the Carbon Pro's better.
  19. I've been skating with these for a month, and they're awesome. I notice a difference than the Yellow version and I also notice they take up a tiny bit more volume than the Yellow's.
  20. I just picked up a pair today. I put them inside my skates and it seems I lost a tiny bit of volume. I was using Superfeet Yellow before these. I haven't tried them on the ice yet, hopefully tomorrow, but from wearing my skates inside the house with these, they feel different from the Yellow.
