Retail will always exist because people will always like having something right away and be able to pick up something they need that night. As us Canadians know, our prices will be crazy high and the shipping from the US will also be ridiculous and almost or just not make it worth it at all. This is what it's like here when it comes to hockey equipment. -
Well with free agency just days away I think this can be started... 2S Pro at Flyers camp https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dgz5v_uWsAg_WLY.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DgzktYgX0AA6V-T.jpg:large

I asked something similar with Warrior shins last week. From what I know Reebok/CCM pro stock is different from retail. I think the differences just has to do with the strapping, padding (especially with shins), flexability and little features such as vent armor. I've seen pro branded shoulders from 4K to 8K and in retail the lower numbers do not offer even close to the same protection. I think in the 7K vs 8K from reading the 7K liner doesn't cover as much, so may offer more space and might mean 19K is an updated 7K. Not from experience just based on some exploring.

picked this up over the weekend. first time i've seen anything STX in canada
-
didn't purchase either (i shoot right), but i thought it was neat seeing both of these at the same store

Update: Pro Hockey Life has Kessel 6.0s on their website listed at 80 flex which makes sense. (also saw today at a LHS a QRL with a W02 Lidstrom pattern)
-
Thanks man! Where I bought it they had Tpros at 85, 80, 75 and 65 flex and it didn't feel like any of them (was whippy but not the same feel) and since I've lost a lot of weight finding the peeffect flex has been tough until this stick
-
I've heard about it being a twisted PM9 but I want to make sure
-
well 47 is his # with the canucks and 20 with the comets, the kessel code is 3810 1 which has an 81 in it. I'm thinking the first 4 are just the player ID and the 5th number is just the specific for that player. So you Baertschi would be the 3rd type of stick True has made for him.

Now if I can find out it's exact flex and pattern it's most similar to...
-
I think it's look drew me to it, but I was also a fan of the nike bauer 8500 helmet too. The protection of this glove makes me wish I had bought all the Ultra protective not just the 4052s...

Picked these up today, been eyeing them for sometime now.

Those who do a little more research than the average consumer know the flaws of the VA Tech ratings and realize the importance of a proper fit. Unfortunately, when news comes out with something like the VA study and it creates a buzz with the average consumer. "WOW a university has found out the safest helmets out there!!! Here's my money!!!" Companies now have to consider the study because despite it being heavily debunked, most just read the headlines and here we are.

Decided to upgrade from my U+ Pros after 5 years. Hope this turns out to be a great decision
