  1. I will back up that the new set your goals is great. It's very easily accessible hardcore and catchy as hell.
  2. I'm in a union, I don't have to be looking for a job the rest of my life. If I wasn't then yeah I'd stop at my wrists.
  3. I've gotta say nautical stars and tribal anything are the two worst tattoos you can get. I've got my wrists done, simple block lettering that means a lot to me. Getting both spaces between my thumb and forefinger done next thursday.
  4. The lifespan of those engines with a turbo is about 50k though, the seals go like whoa.
  5. Ok, I've made a decision. My best friend's brother bought an RX8 grand touring edition. I got to drive it, I know what I want as my next car. Perfect weight distribution, quick, just hums at about 8000rpm.
  6. In the next week or so I'm buying an 06 Frontier
  7. You need more pictures that include Robb Fisher. Love the setup though, matches the jerseys well.
  8. Stuff looks good. What are the top of the line fuel elbows/shins going to go for? And, how much are the AG110s going to be? And if Justin could help a little, how would they fit compare to an he950 helium?
  9. Probably because my knees are pretty much always really bent I look small, but I'm 6' barefoot about 175lbs. And yeah Fletch, I love the gloves. And as you can tell by my love of red/black I needed a pair to match.
  10. taking the faceoff only moron with nothing on his face two on one, defenseman went to the other guy, coasting backwards backhander under his arm
  11. Design 2 on the goal pads in the catalog looks like something straight out of the power rangers. Camo glove does look pretty hot though.
  12. hockey corner part two
  13. until I found 8025 jofas I used to cut the bicep protection off of any elbows I bought. Used to straight up cut the cuffs out of just about every pair of gloves I owned also
  14. I need to get my white eagles replamed too, I'll probably just get stock palms back in them since they split time with my HGTs. I also use my beat up bilt rites and original responses probably a lot more than I should.
  15. So I decided to take pictures of just the stuff that's in the actual rotation. As you can see there's a few things that I just can't get rid of (bilt rite works gloves that are about 8 years old). Fotki downsizing my photos makes my room look dirty, grrr!. the whole lot of it skates/some gloves more gloves/protective helmets
  16. Your white obsession is just about as bad as mine.
  17. This would be the thread for the holmstrom "shoulder pad" picture to be re-posted.
  18. Those elbow pads aren't exactly spankin' new either. With most NHL players you'll find they still wear the shoulder pads they wore in juniors.
  19. I don't think CCM will go anywhere, it's sorta like people who thought Nike was just going to 'swoosh' everything and eliminate anything traditional.
  20. that's them. like jr said, 652 with the newer wedge.
  21. Did the wrist protection on those elbow pads take any getting used to?
  22. Yeah, that's mainly why a lot of the guys I play with do ice boots for inline anymore, brand loyalty. I have two guys I play with most of the year and all the one will wear is 705s and the other will only wear vapors. A lot of it used to be guys that played both wanted the same fit and feel in their boot no matter what they were playing.
  23. The tape on the holders thing, a kid I used to play with did that. He said it was something his dad did when he was really young and he just kept doing it. I've learned hockey players, myself included, are probably the most superstitious out of all sports I've played.
  24. Just be sure to check around, 'cause I've noticed around nj/pa the price differs from one shop to another. Though if you trust your LHS' work, pay the extra few bucks. Nothing's worse than a badly mounted roller chassis on an ice boot, 'cause if you have to remount it you're going into a third set of holes.
