all these years later, those nikes still hold a place in my heart. Had a pair of the inlines as my first ever "hockey skate" (I was using plastic booted rollerblades before them) They're looking pretty good with the T'blades, and I'm usually not a fan of those.

any word on the custom glove program? will this be available at all Easton retailers? Will they make single customs or is there a minimum? Thanks.

because there is a lot of work involved in making the gloves, from laying out and cutting the proper materials in the right colors to the actual sewing to quality control inspections. Keep in mind that they do a lot of customs, including pros and team sales. I'd rather have a pair of gloves take a little while and be done correctly than have them sloppily thrown together quickly.

In the spirit of Buzz's post, did anyone else notice how the Icons in Adobe kind of gel with the silhouettes/flight attendants? If you don't catch my meaning, go to the catalog and just start clicking. If you still don't get it, well, there's really no hope for you.

I really like the idea of different lies in the fedorov and draper patterns, maybe now I can use a draper. For those who have seen the sticks, does the nipple grip run the entire length of the shaft, or is it only on part of the shaft (like TPS' Grip Zone)? All of the closeups of the nipplegrip seem to have parts of the shaft in clear.

buy a pair from last year's line if they fit your foot well. Also, there are rumblings that they'll be making a comeback.

if it's not in the catalog, it's probably not available, although there may be an option with their "pro stock" gloves.

the fuels are actually a lot closer to the M-1s and L-7s than you'd think. I think it's the cuff that's wild, and outlandish that everyone seems to be taking issue with.

My dad has one. With the V10 engine, too. It's an absolute tank and a blast to drive. Don't know if i'd recommend the V8, as it's a LOT of vehicle to move, and the V8 just won't cut it. Diesels are absolute monsters as well. I know it's kind of crazy to say, but it's actually pretty quick for such a large vehicle. I've surprised many a "subcompact racer" off the light with it. Rides like a fucking boxcar though. solid front axle with leaf springs will do that to you.

as i said before, too much lol. I could have had them cheaper had I gone with customs, and I could have gotten the split fingers and poly inserts I wanted (I was considering getting a pair of whitewalls with silver/black accents until I saw these) but I was being impatient and didn't want to wait. It's actually a good thing they came in today, because I won't be playing ice again until next friday and might have been tempted to use them for outdoor roller tomorrow night. and yeah, the pic came out kind of orange. Stupid cameraphone.

i think it's the standard clarino on most X70s, but in red. Feels like a microfiber/suede. They're the same ones you find on the Team USA/Team Canada gloves. Since I got them on ebay I don't have all of the details on them. It's a mostly portofino shell, with proglo cuff and the red on the side is proglo as well.

This is the first time I'm posting in here because it's pretty much the first time I've got something I want to show off. Alway wanted ap air of eagles, but the price scared me away. Last week I said f*** it, and picked these up on ebay for entirely too much money, but I'm extremely pleased with them. I thought the lack of split fingers might annoy me, but they felt really good tonight. Backhand (ebay pic) Thumbs/sides Palms edit: excuse the mess in the background. It get's kinda crazy at work sometimes.

I'm loving the fuel gloves. look kinda vaporish, yet still traditional. The cuff looks absolutely huge, which I like. New fuel skates look sweet, as well. JR, or anyone else who has seen the stuff, are the toxics the only sticks that have the meta shape?

At least it's not a convertible. I Drive a '92 Mercury Cougar with a 5.0 motor. It's a granny car with a little kick in the pants.
