Unemployment sucks! I lost my job in June and didn't think I would still be looking at this point. Watching the hockey season start up again juts adds salt to the wound. At least I am on a roster so if I do get something as soon as the insurance kicks in I can get back on the ice.

The inner tags have a scan code sticker that says HG1-FLA which I was happy to see. Printed on one tag was Made by Saw Sports Inc. The only "made in" I can find is the hand crafted in canada on the side.

I really shouldn't have got these, but they were so cheap on ebay. (These are the ebay photos) I always regretted getting rid of my HG1s. Even though these are 15s they still feel pretty good.

After a crapy work situtaion lately, playing a good well matched game feels pretty excellent. Not to mention a goal for myslef last night. (That's not a common thing)

This dammed warm weather! My local pond tourney has already be postponed from the first weekend of the month. Now it's warm again, I wonder if the ice can hold out this week.

On the CA9 girdle, is the built in cup removable for washing? I tried to find info on this, but any video that might address this is blocked here at work.

There was supposed to be a pond hockey tourney the first weekend of Jan (6-8) but it has been postponed until later in the month. This weather sucks! Who woulda thought it would be too warm for ice in January in Wisconsin?

Minor annoyance at work. In the depths of the IT department they are turning up the internet filters. Suddenly photo sharing sites like flickr and photobucket are blocked, but the streaming video on NHL.com works. All of my internet radio now doesn't work either. Ah well. Nothing like blanket solutions in a big company.

Most people don't know about library science degrees. I was only aware because a friend's mom is/was a librarian. As Drew said, it's not an easy degree with some pretty dry studies (data, metadata). There is also much more variety in specialties librarians can have than I ever knew.

That's great 5 Minute, best of luck to your mom. Several months after getting her Masters in Library Science, my wife has is now a Librarian 1. It's only part-time, but it's real experience and she finally got her foot in the door of what she went back to school for. Now we just have to figure out how to make this all work with one car!
