  2. Playing a pick-up game at the Bradley Center (hours) before the Admirals game tonight. Should be fun to play on stadium ice, sounds like a lot of people showing up to play though. The price includes a ticket to tonight's Ad's game as well.
  3. They were listed as used, but man you can't really tell. They even have a new smell to them. Now I need to block ebay from all the computers I use.
  4. Pussed out on my hockey clinic last night due to the weather. I should have gone.

  6. kovey those are from ebay right? I was seriously considering those, but since I had my 1st gen z-airs getting re-palmed/worked on I decided not to. Those are beauties though!
  7. They look great with old supreme tongues. What other options did you customized?

  9. Awesome! Where did you find those in that shape?
  10. So the EQ5s are the Easton mystery gloves. They look better as prostocks, IMO, less busy. I do like the look of the EQ5 skate, though I know it's nothing new tech wise. If I were in the market for skates I would try that line on. All the new products look okay nothing too mind blowing, except for the feather light helmet.
  11. MSH2 are $10 more than a regular repalm. +1 on the great workmanship by Mark.
  12. Yeah I was just comparing them to my other Z-airs these one piece fingers are solid, no bend at all. Also the later generations are a bit tighter throughout the hand these have a wider fit. Almost forgot, picked up some Tackla lowers too. These fit better than the Jofa smalls (plus I love the old NHL logo on 'em).
  13. You don't need to stop, you need to catch up! You need a pair of first-generation Z-airs and a pair of Eagle Z-airs. :P Got the first-generations Z-airs. Islanders pro stock, they had swiss cheese palms, about 1.25" more on the cuff and a bit of funk to them. Now with the help of Peaches Pro Repair, they have some new Eagle palms and shorter cuffs. They still have some funk, the leather is beat up a bit on corners and edges and the logos are partially gone. They have some years of play left in them though. Wish I would have taken a before and after shot. I think I am SOL on the Eagle Z-airs though.
  14. Why not use the Shock Doctor bag at home, and use a smaller, cheap bag just to transport the equipment to/from games? That's what I do. Those SD bags are a pain to get through doors or tight spaces and are as heavy as hell. I even get annoyed by my basic easton carry bag. I am thinking of getting a jr. bag or the smallest sr. bag I can find.
  15. Huh? It just sounds like they removed so much, wasn't sure how the jaw would work. But again, glad the surgery went well. Hoping for cancer free news.
  16. That's great! Fingers crossed fo you and your dog. If you don't mind a little prying, is there artificial bone in place of what they removed? If not, will you be serving your pup special food?
  17. An additional good luck from me and my mutt!
  18. Let's hope it just doesn't happen. I had a narrow miss as my class last night, but the wide shot nailed my foot instead of the tuuk as I waited in the drill line.
  19. I have heard the black tuuks have a reputation for breaking. We'll see what happens. I probably shouldn't have bought them, my 6000's are still holding up. I guess I just really like the older skates.
  20. $50 + shipping off ebay. If they were used, it must have been once or twice only.
  21. My new, old Bauer 5000s. :) Anyone know if these are heat moldable? If it helps, the names are screened on not embroidered, they are made in Canada and the box is ©1996 (not that that necessarily means anything).
  22. Cmd+F flips it in photo booth. You can also set it to autoflip.
  23. You don't need to stop, you need to catch up! You need a pair of first-generation Z-airs and a pair of Eagle Z-airs. :P Yeah. Frist gens or Inigla's retro would be nice!
  24. Pair number 3 of the z-air style - Navy. (I have to stop!) New pants Jofa 7000. 2 piece tanks! I wish they were medium instead of small, but these will break in.
  25. Christ. I think some guys just have a complete lack of self control. I know with adrenaline/playing the game can get to you, but two handing someone while they're down ... I just can't imagine doing that. We got a guy like that on my team. Except he takes partial credit for his "coaching" when good things happen on the ice. Meanwhile when he starts screaming I have to move and can only take so much of it and the fact that his booze/cig breath could stop a charging rhino.
