You know a breakaway does create an odd man advantage in your end of the ice for the other team if they can get control of the puck.
-
When someone goes blowing past me in shitty conditions, I refuse to pull over and help when they end up losing control. Anyone that stupid doesn't deserve the help.

My Mustang was a go-kart in the snow, as was one of my best friends. Our town was built on the side of a hill and my family had a lot of problems finding cars that could make it up in the winter. In some conditions, driving knowledge is irrelevant. That said, I drove my Rodeo and Amigo in RWD most of the time and the only issue I had was starting on wet roads. The tires almost aways spun unless I started out in second gear. That's a nice benefit of having a standard transmission, you can drive in a gear with lower torque.

They're great until you actually wear them and they get marked up. They start looking bad pretty quickly.
-
i understand that 100%, but you must agree that there are some RWD cars that perform better in snow than others, do you not? im looking for a comparitive analyisis i guess is the best way to put it. You didn't seem to care about the comparative analysis of the engines.
-
The Fiero I had in college was the best car I ever drove in the snow. Then again, the engine sitting right above the rear axle had a lot to do with that. The RWD versions are not as good in the snow as the AWD versions. Since you aren't listening to any of the advice given, you wight as well just do whatever you're planning on and get it over with.

Our very own Kovy-Ribs with 31 points in six games. There's some hands in that family.

Rookie/Prospect Camp? Some type of tournament. None of the free translators speak Quebecois, here's the best I could get from free online French translator.

They aren't blacked out, that's how they arrived. That's all I get...eh?!?!? Publicly, yes. ;)

More stuff is on the way. ;) If you want to make sure you have a chance to be selected, make sure your state/province is named in your profile. We want to make sure that we cover all areas and some smaller manufacturers want to support the areas where they have the largest numbers of dealers. Wouldn't it be a good idea to get product to places where manufacturers have little dealer representation? Couldn't that possibly help build a rep in the areas and lead to more representation? Just my $.02 I'm sure they considered that as well. I'd really prefer for this to not go completely off topic here.

You'll find out when you see the topics. EVERYONE was given the opportunity to participate.

The idea was kicking around for a while. JR and I fleshed it out over a few phone calls and IM sessions last fall/winter.

I was looking at their stuff a while back and wasn't too excited about the $200 Canadian and shipping, etc. Did you buy it directly off their site or is there some where else...possibly cheaper? It's part of a new program that we pitched to the manufacturers at the trade show in Vegas. There will be more of these to come. Before the rush starts, we'll let you know if you're selected for the program there's no need to ask us. We will be attempting to place products with the appropriate members, depending on their skills and level of products used.

Going in the first round is never a downgrade. He played in a league with very little visibility last year and wasn't seen by scouts. This year, he was seen and what the scouts saw warranted a first round pick. If anything, it's a lesson in hard work and dedication paying off. Some guys might have given up after being passed over the first time around, the fact that David didn't should teach us all something. Just keep us updated on where you go in your "real" draft year.
