I'm only 5'8 and use 15's, I let them hang real low on the tongues

I have the small oakley straight tinted and I actually really enjoy it plus it looks pretty bad ass mainly b/c of its size, a tinted pro aviator is a big shield and the itech mirrored pro waves make you look like an alien

I absolutely love those TPS's, such a nice stick but can't find any for a good deal

Malborough is their warehouse store.. they get dibs on all new product, and the other locations like Braintree, Danvers suffer. 90% of all the new Easton product won't make it's way to the other stores for months on end. I've also heard that some of their experienced management all moved on to work as reps for some of the manufacturers, not sure if that contributes to the stores closing. I will be the first to admit their customer service as of late has gotten significantly worse. My brother sat around the skate section for a good 15 minutes the other day looking to try on a few pairs of skates. The store was dead, and all the employees were playing around in the front office... they even went as far as closing the blinds of the office window after 10 minutes.....so off to Breakaway Hockey we went. I also know that their attempt to branch out into general sporting goods failed miserably after only a few months. wouldnt suprise me... selection is braintree sucks and the service is terrible I'm not sure how many times I've had to send my skates back to fix the edges, either their machine is off or someone doesnt know what they are doing I'll have to check out the marlborough store, thats kind of far from me though

those xxx's are amazing I recently picked up a pair of montreal pro stock rbk's and as much as I love them those would really suit me, they had a pair over at eastwest but for 135 I just went with the cheaper glove at that point thats a pretty nice pure, where the hell is that the store outside of boston is terrible in terms of selection!

Love the Great Whites... After I'm done with these G3's I'm def. doing some Custom G3 ultras just like that. I wonder if Graf does all white tongues? could someone post the page number with the great white pics on them, I searched high and low and cant seem to find those pictures

is it difficult to dye? that job looks great I'd def dye mine grey, any tips

those are some killer jerseys, love the color scheme

you can see the thinness of the felt in the pics here on msh... its essentially a one90 tongue with a layer of felt sewn in yes, sad indeed

I hear you on that one, I think that 9k is a great looking skate because it holds that classic design while adding some style to the skate. I enjoy the change at the rear of the skate, the piece of "bling" on the back of last years 9k killed me, especially when I considered buying the white versions. as for the XXXX's they to me, are the the staple in cheap looking design (esp considering they are made in china). I just cant get my head past that silver design, just to much going on at once... esp the tendon guard (jesus christ is that ugly... not as bad as the ones on my one90's but a chromed out tendon guard thing where the hell did that come from?) edit: the tendon guard on the one95 is a nice step up

even the one95's, I talked to a NBH rep and he said their tongues arent really a white felt tongue, its more of a lining. I'm thinking like graf, real think shit

I'm sick of the new tongues on skates these days, the 9k looks great but for some reason I just want to see white felt on those mothas
-
it looks like the xxxx glove will come in a number of color schemes, some of them look pretty amazing! I never knew they had a custom shell program, will definately have to look into that

impressive collection, honestly I'm glad I pulled an s17 from the toy drive because if I dropped 2 and change on that stick I'd be pretty pissed. It's a great stick but seems to lose its pop quick and I'm lucky I'm out of competitive hockey because one slash and this thing is done
