Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Spreedizzle replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
It has been covered....in depth....in the other thread. Your best bet is to read through a handful of pages and decide if you think it is worth it for you. Personally....I love them and will never consider going back to a fixed chassis.- 2846 replies

Looking back now, I am glad about my truck purchase from a number of years ago. 2000 Toyota Tacoma ext cab, 2.4L 4cyl, 5spd manual, 2 wheel drive. The truck now has 146,000 miles and the only thing that I have replaced is the brakes twice and the stock battery. I'm still on the factory clutch. All the while getting 25mpg in mixed driving, and I'll cap out at 27 on the highway at moderate speeds. My company truck is a 2008 Ford F-150 8ft bed with the 4.6L V8 and the best that it has gotten is 17mpg. When my employees use it for deliveries around town it typically gets about 12-14mpg. OUCH!! It is on the company dime and it hurts, but it is better than firing up one of our 11 liter International Diesels that hold 250 gallons of diesel a piece. That is NOT a fun fuel bill when I see it.

Is that powder coating??

No, they are retail- the Rasta Mon Edition Hey....the way that Warrior is doing things....I wouldn't put it past them. ;) That's backwards buddy. MIA steals Eagles designs, not the other way around. Still waiting for the SSH2 palm. I know it was backwards. Just making a reference to Warrior's advertising and a kind of "if they can do it" type of remark. I don't in the slightest thing that Eagle ever would do something like that as retail....but hey....nobody knows these days which direction marketing will go next. B)

Come on now....that's just mean...and you know it!! B)

Not even worth typing it.....because you already know what I am going to say. ;)

WOW....some serious colors you have going on there. After the other members comment of it being a great match to your jerseys......throw up a pic of the sweaters!!

Nah, it just looks like the team came to use your shower. Nothing like a locker room shower complete with squeaky toys. ;)

You are bringing up bad memories for me now. I had a SV650 while I lived in TN and was about 45 minutes from Deals Gap (Honda Hoot site, 318 curves in 11.2 miles....national treasure amongst 2 wheel riders) and the bike was the best handling bike I had ever ridden. Torque from 3,000 on up and a nice low center of gravity made it far too easy to drag a knee. I sold it once I moved from TN to get my "sport cruiser" ZRX1100. Much more comfortable bike, and my first forray into 2-up riding....but I still miss that bike. :(

Aside from my motorcycles....my main vehicle is pretty simple. 2000 Toyota Tacoma ext cab, 2 wd, 4cyl, 5 spd manual. All the utility of a truck, and all the frugality of 26mpg in mixed driving. Can't beat that combination. ;)

Can't say that I do that.....but here are my two wheeled toys: Yamaha Roadliner S Kawasaki ZRX1100

GREAT look with the black rockers. I had to do a double take on the mounting due to that. ;)- 2846 replies

Dont care what kind of chassis really. Ive looked online and it was hard to find them for sale. there is the hummer chasis which is all 80mm wheels the mission vanguard which is 2 76mm in the front and 2 80mm in the back and the sprung chasis which is all 80mm with a ice feel. Correction....there is the Sprung A6 which is a Sprung straight 76mm chassis, and then the A8 which is the straight 80mm chassis that LI was referring to.- 2846 replies

I couldn't resist.....but this coming from the guy that has "tha Jesus" in his avatar. B) It's an underrated movie. Actually one of my favorites of all time. Fun drinking game during it also: 2 teams, one team drinks on "Dude" the other drinks on "Man". Everyone wins in the end on this one. ;)

Great looking job with the lamb's wool. Did you sew those into your tongue also, or glue them in? GaGa: Adjusted. ;) Thanks for the heads up.

Dear God!!!!.....you are going to look like a ninja turtle.

The leg thing.....we talkin intentional here, or is that your natural shot/follow through??

It has the grip zone like the rest of the current Response lineup, but it starts lower on the shaft and fades in as opposed to being an abrupt start/stop like on the R8/R6 of the previous year. Shaft shape is reminiscent of the R8 Lite....rounded corners with a slight dual concavity to the shaft. 12K is a specific TPI (threads per inch) carbon weave. Nothing too exciting really, just a different way to weave the carbon for the construction of the stick. Warrior also does it on their blades, but it appears that TPS is doing it throughout the stick. I am going to post the same initial post from this thread in the R10 thread that already exists....so please direct most of your questions there to centralize the discussion. Thanks in advance!! http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...showtopic=36092

Here is my little piece of heaven to show off. I just got hooked up yesterday with a demo TPS R10 Whip Flex in the RH Frolov curve. Here are the pics that I have detailing the stick. Feel free to pop me a handful of questions on it, and I will try and do a comprehensive review on the stick once I get a puck on the tape for a while. ;) http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture378.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture377.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture376.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture375.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture374.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture373.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture372.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture371.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture370.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture369.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/s.../Picture368.jpg

I will....I sent an e mail for approval of the Demo to ensure that it would be ok with the Mods first. Don't want to step on any toes. ;)
