So they are finally in. Here are the specs: Eagle X72 14" gloves Tufftek on all MSH2 palms Mesh gussets Kangaroo pouch removed Out of the box....EASILY the most supple gloves that I have ever slid my hands into. Simply amazing how they feel right now. God only knows how good they will feel tonight after my game. A BIG THANKS goes out to DarkStar50 for helping me acquire these beauties!!

Dad retired recently after 37 years with Exxon/Mobil.....got himself a 2007 Porsce 911 Carerra 4S Carbiolet in their dark metallic great. Beautiful car, but not as intriguing looking as those couple that you have there in the pics from your meet.

Certainly a GT40......and the other one does look like a Cobra. More important to me....what track are you on in that pic?

I loved the original response, durability sucked but the feel was nice and soft. When they went to pre-peg with the R+ and XN10, the blades got harder. The new ones are harder still. I popped one of the new blades into an old XN10 and compared them the other day and it wasn't even close. Good thing I have enough old blades for the new shafts. Agreed on the XN10's, but I wasn't a huge fan of the Response series. Shaft shape just never worked out well for me. The XN10 blades were the last of the "fantastic feeling" blades from TPS for me, but what they lost in feel they more than made up for in durability. I use ST's on my 4 remaining Redlite XN10's and the feel is there for me, but the durability in the ST's is terrible. I only wish that I had stocked up (as it sounds you did) on the older TPS blades.

Blade feel on the R series has always been good for me, not the best....but the best blend of both feel and durability. Which is saying a lot as the TPS blades are bombproof.

I have pretty much the same impressions. I have had my R10 for about 4 months now. My only issue was initially I had trouble with the kick/tri-flex elevating my shots a bit too abruptly and I felt that I had to over compensate (relative to my other sticks) to keep my shots low. I know that it was the stick as I have the same curve and flex (whip) on my R6's and R8's. But same story as yours....I play center, get hacked and chipped at a lot and the stick still looks and plays fantastic. I still strongly hold to my believe that the TPS blades are the most durable in the current OPS line up.

MHD is a channel, Music High Definition. A channel that broadcasts only in digital and in a high def signal. -

Agreed. And the "In The Basement" video recording "In Rainbow" was a really great introspective look at the band performing to a small and intimate setting. Caught it on MHD (Music High Definition) the other day and immediately downloaded if afterwards. -

Somewhat mainstream, but with a much stronger underground following.....Radiohead. Reckoner off of the In Rainbow album has to rank up there with Street Spirit off of The Bends as my favorite song of their. -
Most people don't know this so I will let the cat out of the bag...... TBL had an unfortunate smelting accident during shop class in his junior year and lost his left hand......thus he only collects right handed gloves. ;)

Colors like that and Sigourney Weaver will come looking for you with a Gatling Gun. ;)

That is one of the trends that I have appreciated from Dodge and a handful of other manufacturers in the last 5 years.......they are making the "economy" class cars both economical and sharp looking. Nice pick up. B)

I was offered one by Ted at Compro Sports to demo (as was TBL) and both of our reviews on the twig were fantastic. Good durability, great shot accuracy and loading. The only real issue was that the flex felt softer than listed. This was more of an issue for TBL than myself as he uses stiffer flexes compared to my typical TPS Whip flex. But their 85 cut down to 55" still felt about 82-85. Either way....a great stick, especially for the insane $99 price currently on Ice Warehouse.

Gotta love the 2 wheeled toys. I appreciate mine not as often as they deserve though.....too damn hotttt here in Louisiana. B) As always....keep the rubber side down.

Most people mount the frame to be centered. Some people that are more accustomed to a specific pitch from ice hockey may mount the frame slightly forward or back depending on preference.- 2846 replies

Haven't had the opportunity yet, but i hear its slower than a 8 and 9's but still an awesome car overall Slower in a straight line.....yes. But all of the reports are showing that with the new and improved torque split electronics and other "traction gadgetry" in the car that it consistently laps faster at just about any raceway or autocross faster than its predecessors.

I've recently been tossing around the notion of purchasing a used Nissan 350Z. But of course the binding question is room to accomodate hockey gear. Does anyone that has one have any difficulty fitting a full sized gear back in the back along with a stick bag? How often are you wishing for more room in the trunk with the rear strut tower brace in the way? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using my R10 at 55" and it still feels close to an 80 ironically. One helluva snap and wrist shot off of the stick, slap is a bit lacking compared to some of my other less whippy sticks though.

Sounds great....but the A6 Avant is a tough body style to find in America unfortunately. Especially since I personally think that the Avant looks better than the sedan.

The government subsidizes gas prices for the public in all of those countries with absurdly low prices. Plus they use a higher ethanol blend with homegrown crops. E85 came from latin and south american countries that can make it cheaper than water. It takes more energy to create corn based ethanol, than you get out of the finished product. Unless you're using power from a completely renewable resource to drive the ethanol refinery, you're still wasting carbon based fuel. Not to mention also increasing the costs on a lot of our foods. A lot of what we eat is corn based products, and simple economics could of informed a lot of government officials that pushing for E85 was going to drive up food costs.
