  1. Didn't you get one in the Toy Drive? Were those logo'ed helmets? Oh, yeah, I did have a Navy. I gave it to an employee. Sorry - working for me has its privileges.
  2. BDP = Black Diamond Pattern SDP = Silver Diamond Pattern S9 Pro Look Ma, no logos!
  3. Min 6. We do a few HS teams in them around here.
  4. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008...on/easton08.pdf Sorry about the scans - manufacturers need to make them spiral-bound if they are going to be thick, or break them down like NBH did this year - small catalogues per category... Sticks/Shafts/Blades - S17 has been discussed earlier as it was a holiday launch, but now for the first time, there is a Stealth family of sticks. The S11 and S5 both have the elliptical taper but obviously downspec'd. The SyNergy Elite is unchanged from last year, but the ST gets a makeover. A silicone molded shaft for consistent walls and a vibration-dampening system in the blade, the ST also has a textured finish similar to NBH and Warrior. The SC2 is also a new stick for 08 - falling in a price point that Easton has never been in. SC1 replaces the Z-Carbon wood stick. SyNergy Elite replaces SyNergyII. Stealth S15 shaft replaces Z-Bubble and ST shaft replaces Ultra Lite. The blades also are the same - Elite replaces SyNII and S15 replaces Z-Carbon CNT. SCPro is the old Hybrid. Skates - Stealth line is unchanged for 08 but SyNergy is totally new. The SE16 replaces 1500C - with a new look, tongue and inners. Helmets - After years of speculation, Easton finally gets their helmets to market The S17 has a tool-less sizing system that is on the back of the helmet. Pop it open, pull the helmet out, and lock it back down. The In Form fit system works similar to RBKs by having a dial on the back of the helmet, and it pulls in quite a bit. Technology borrowed from Giro - similar to what is on their ski helmets. One feature that is pretty neat are the temple foams. It is separate from the main liner. The entire thing comes out (unlike others that you have to pull the entire liner out or wedge fingers behind it to hold the female screw) so makes it easy to install cages/shields. The S17 is a EPP helmet with pads for comfort. The S9 is a dual-density VN lid without the In Form system and tool-less adjustment. Gloves - All new gloves for 08 - S17 might be a winner - pretty good feeling glove. Protective - just name changes, everything is essentially the same. Totally new items are the Motion pants, which are a combination girdle/pant.
  5. close to it but im pretty sure this is http://www.hockeylife.com/store.cfm THose pictures are of Sports Rousseau, specifically the Laval location. I don't think the Hockey Life stores are that nice.
  6. My Kicker components are great. I need an amp. Got an amp hookup?
  7. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008...r/warrior08.pdf *did not scan pants, had heard they will not be available when the show was in Detroit but they were in the booth in Vegas. Will scan pics when I get confirmation.
  8. Had one. Sold it for cheap to a hardcore Modano collector.
  9. Spoke to the stick product manager at the show and he said that the U+ stick will be slightly tweaked. The hole in the heel will be covered with a light epoxy on the edge of the blade. They did some more testing and while it wasn't compromising the stick's integrity at all, the edges were fraying.
  10. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008...e/eagle2008.pdf Coming soon
  11. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008/Fury/fury2008.pdf Scott McCrory walked me through the line in Vegas. Thanks! Gloves - Two models - Payback and The Difference. Payback is the old Aeroflex, however with a Croslite inner that goes all the way down to the fingertips. Great shelf appeal with the graphics. Palm is a digital palm with embossed logos on the fingertips to give it a little texture. The Difference is the prostyle glove with a nash palm. Shins - Payback is complete Croslite in different durometers for protection. Very nice X-style strap system to hold the pad secure to the leg. Elbows - The new elbow pad is quite interesting. Chadd and I tried it on before I talked to Scott and while we liked the interior, we weren't a fan of the forearm guard, which made it quite cumbersome. However, Scott showed me that it is indeed removable and after that, fit very well. Very similar to the Itech Techlite elbows. Croslite cup will be good for those with bursitis. Will touch on rest later
  12. It is knit, not the moisture-resistant material.
  13. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008.../vaughn2008.pdf Two lines - Velocity and Epic. Vault is gone. Not a goal guy obviously, but Vaughn's done a stellar job on the import stuff. At the price points that they will be at, they can do very well in that market.
