Nah, I'm borrowing a page from mack and doing regular Franchises, but essentially no cuff on them. NHL graphics package (full Warrior print on cuff) and no stripes on the fingers or the cuff roll, just on the backrolls. Will look pretty traditional in that sense. MSH colorway, and different palms on different hands.
-
Once I get the mockup you guys will see them.
-
Looks like I'm jumping on the Warrior custom bandwagon. Will look different than pretty much all of these :)

How's the thickness?

What palm are those? Kangaroo goat?

Blackstone Flat-Bottom V Thread

Not to sound like a shill, but let's think about this... Those two things usually don't go together. It's either "tons of glide, no bite" or "tons of bite, no glide." Give it a couple of skates, a few people are experiencing a learning curve. -

Latest update - I put a good friend of mine on it - he was one of Laura Stamm's original instructors and I was very curious to see what he thought. Got a phone call and while I barely understood him because I was at the Daytona 500, all I heard was "HOLY SHIT WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SKATES?" and then VROOOOOOOOOOM as the cars went by...LOL I'll talk to him tomorrow and find out what is up. -
That would not be a good thing for him. The pressure would be ridiculous.
-
Totally nailed it. Just because he's a friend doesn't mean that I think he's perfect - he obviously has growing up to do at the NHL level and age is a big factor. You also have to understand that a lot of these kids who are making it to the NHL early are essentially in a professional mindset for a number of years before they make it there, especially the ones that don't end up going to the minors - he only played one year of major junior. He wasn't on anyone's radar before that. You just don't go from scoring points one night to 4th line the next. It's not the message you want to be sending to someone who you are trying to develop. Coupled with the fact that the same message was never sent to Johnson, Oshie or Berglund, one can detect a bit of an issue. I have told him this before - I understand what St. Louis is trying to do - they are trying to mold him. But it also needs to be understood that his brashness and confidence is what got him there in the first place and that tough love doesn't work for someone who was told he would never make it.

I practiced in the mirror for you, but my accent crept in on the video version. K9, thanks for posting the link...I hope it helps explain our line a little better. Nah man you looked good. Gotta keep the brown people in the hockey business in the limelight. -

Miseaujeu must've practiced that whole presentation over and over again because that was the same one he gave me! :P -

That IS the retail price - X01/X02 is geared to end users, not stores. -
It's one of those situations in which if you make one change, it changes everything else.
-
I KNOW If I *knew* how to fix it, we wouldn't be having this issue. But I don't.
-
Just hover over the black square when you scroll down. You will see Download File.

That information is not out yet, and it won't be for some time.
-
It's been shown to pros. It's probably being used as we speak.

Can be done on X01 as well. Goodguy - Get An Edge at the Orchard Lake St-Mary's/Royal Oak rink is the only store in Metro Detroit that is set up for FBV. Tell Steve I sent ya. -

Seriously, guys, if you need to find out what store is doing FBV, CALL THEM YOURSELF. Think about it. Let's say SAK sold a store some FBV discs. He doesn't work there - he has no idea if they are in use. -
What? Couldn't find anything but saw a pic on the Post-Dispatch of him taking a blocker shot to the face from Budaj - that broke his visor in half?

If you're starting out, definitely get the accessory package. Use BOTH lube tube and fine shine - they both have their purpose. FBV mini-spinners aren't listed yet. I tell ya what, I'm been sharpening a bit lately - I must admit I was out of the physical rhythm as it had been pretty much 9 months since I was sharpening on a regular basis. I'm helping out at my old store part-time this past week so I've done about 100 pair this week on their standard sharpener (and my back is hating me for it). I haven't touched the X02 in a week. I saw an old client of mine and I told him about the FBV so I took his skates home today. It was truly scary. -

I'm actually not a fan of them, but I agree that it provides some interesting opportunities moving forward. Yea, if you want Warrior gloves definitely get the Franchises. I think I prefer the Creeper. Haven't decided. -
LOL, I would hope he would. thl - I'll call you tomorrow. Been a while.
-
Um, no, I sent it to you to mess with you if you could figure out what they really were, and you couldn't.
