Obv they have a lacrosse background as they were making pads for that before... -
I'm not sure. When I get mine I still won't know, as they will be done on my last.

Pants with padded belts have them behind the belt. Take a look at other shin pads and you will see that it is industry standard. -

Is your leg symmetrical? No... Buttons could be under the padded belt, they usually are. -

Weight has taken him under his wing, but he is still in the hotel. The team doesn't want him living alone - we talked about this when I saw him last week. They wanted him and EJ to move in a house across the street from MacInnis but it hasn't been worked out yet.

DUde, the NHL players are still going to get HT2s. It's retail that won't.

...no

It's the 9500 cage. It is not titanium - it is stainless steel.

2008 Mission Catalogue

There'll be a new one next year, but PITCH will still stay put. :) -
Because the holder on the ONE95 is the regular LS2 holder. The 2.1 is the steel...it has been tweaked to fit on the LS2 holder.

I have to fix the catalogue.

http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008...mission2008.pdf Skates - All skates have carried over from last year, but there is one new skate for 2008 - that would be the AGX. It is a hybrid fit - AG ankles and height, however, has the stiffeners and quarter package from the XP. This skate will fall right underneath the 100AG in terms of price. And YES...PITCH is staying put. :) Sticks - Fuel TI-Pro is a Holiday 2007 launch, but some of the technology from that stick goes down to the 2008 lineup. The TI/TI Grip falls under the TI-Pro, but without the carbon fibre shaft. Also, no titanium mesh in the blade. The Fuel Pyro replaces the Z-1, still with the Spear shaft and soft touch grip. The Z12 replaces the Toxic line. Helmets - Helmets are unchanged, except for the Fusion, which is a Holiday 2007 launch. Gloves - A new glove has been added to the lineup - the Fuel 130. It is the NHL-spec glove - nylon, dual density foams, stretch palm and no full-motion cuff (what's on the 120). Feels much better than the 120. Protective - This was Justin's last ice project with Mission - I got to see some of the prototype renderings when he was working on it. Very nicely done. The shoulder pads have a motocross look to it - very strong front and back plate (almost feels like you can take a bullet in them) along with EPP in certain areas of the pad. The back of the shoulder pad is very rigid, however, has a break in it where it flexes. The pads have memory foam in the clavicle/knee/tricep area which allows the pad to conform to the player's body. Anti-microbial, cool liner as well as grip print. Pants are unchanged. New bags this year - including the Cooler, which according to Mission reps, fits FIFTY-SEVEN cans of your favorite 12-oz beverage. :)

http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008/CCM/CCM2008.pdf This ain't your daddy's CCM. They are making a big push to be flashy and innovative. Their coin term this year is "Performance Within - built from the inside out." Skates - The new U+ (You Plus, as in an extension of you, the player) replaces the V10.0 skate as CCM's top-end sakte. The skate features U-Foam, which is very reactive to heat. It made a big difference when I had them baked in Montreal - the skate seemed to really open up. More volume than previous Vector boots as well. A new molded tongue and the Rocket Runner are some of the new features. This is an one-off skate, so the U-Foam is not included in the other models. The V08 is very similar to the V10.0 in terms of features. It does include the Rocket Runner, but doesn't include an anti-microbial iner. It is a wicking liner, however. V06 replaces 6.0, but goes back to scalloped stainless runners. Sticks - The new U+ stick includes a hollow point heel. The premise behind it is better balance. 24' taper, mandreled full carbon fibre shaft and a vibration-dampening blade. It comes in the contoured shape, and will have clear and grip (upper 2/3 of shaft) options. The V10 has the new paint job that the NHL players are using this year. The V08 has the U+-style graphics. Helmets - A V08 VN helmet has been added. Also, the HT2 has been eliminated and the V04 takes its place. Gloves - Gloves remain unchanged, however a nylon V08 version has been added. Protective - All of the protective has been redone. Looks very modern and sharp. There are two top-end shoulder pads - the V10 Ove is a beefed-up version of the V10. The elbow pad has EPP in the elbow, forearm and bicep. The V10 has a new cross-strap system which is very comfortable. Vented knee and shin caps as well as an segmented EPP calf wrap.

http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2008/NBH/NBH2008.pdf Skates - This year Supreme got the update - the ONE95 replaces the ONE90. The AnaForm concept is providing an even better heat-mold fit than the ONE90 did. The quarter package has been changed as well - it is a composite material named ALIVE. LS2P is gone - the LS2.1 steel has been tweaked to fit a standard LS2 holder. More volume for more wrap over the foot, a white molded tongue for classiness, and a standard tendon guard, The ONE is no longer a standalone skate - the name and the technology has been carried down to the models underneath it. The ONE75 ditches the ALIVE and goes to a tech mesh - essentially what was on the ONE90. Spec-wise it is essentially an ONE90 (save the liner). ONE55 also has some of the Anaform technology. Helmets - Helmets remain unchanged, but the 9500 has been added. FXPP/VN hybrid -FXPP is the highest-grade EPP on the market. VN is used in thinner areas of the helmet for comfort. It also has a dual-injected shell (think hard shell in some spots, flexible in others) The foam is sprayed with a material which is cool to the touch. Dri-fit also in the helmet. Sticks - Unchanged, holiday sticks carry over, and XXXX Stick'um and XXXX shaft added. Gloves - Supreme unchanged, Vapor finally gets an update after 3 years. The XXXX Pro is nylon with a nash palm. The XXXX has a dual layer nash palm with an absorb pad on the corner of the palm, as well as an adjustable cuff. The Vapor line is slimmer in the hand but still flexible for motion. Protective - The Vapor line is new for 2008. The pants feature an adjustable spine pad and a Nike Air unit in the back. Very stretchy and ventilated. The XXXX Core Pad is essentially a stripped-down pant with a girdle-like lower half. The Supreme protective is unchanged, however, the Vapor line is new. Very flexible in the arms/shoulder area, solid front plate and well-vented (shoulder caps are also vented). It also has an interesting strapping system - you can bring it closer to your body by re-routing the straps through cut-out loops. Not only that, but there is a lacing system inside the shoulder pad, in the sternum area. It is a drawstring - you pull on it and it pulls it closer to your body. Very cool feature. Elbow pad has the Vent Armor (which was introduced with Supreme) with memory foam and a segmented bicep pad. The shins have the same strapping system that is on Supreme, but with a wrap strap on the bottom of the leg. Flexible knee cap. Lightspeed line is replaced by Defender. Europe only, sorry. **edited pdf, now full catalogue (sticks, goal) and protective section is fixed**

Nah...would've been better pics than that.

I've gotten a fair share of collectors items over the years, all personal. I've never bought any - has more meaning when you get it personally. I'll never sell any of it.
