Ugh, do you live in MI? I have had two parents ask me to check out their kid's skating...because they "need" to get their skates profiled. One kid was slipping out on strides and turns (needs a deeper hollow, he's a 65lb peewee skating on 1/2") and the other kid was a mite who just couldn't skate all that well...but hey, little Johnny MUST have his skates profiled, it'll slow down his fast track to the Show...

Probably not. If I'm not mistaken the 7.5 is what, a 254 or 263 in a Mission

RBK 8k Pants I got these in April from RBK. It was a long time since I skated in a "conventional" pant - I wore a girdle/shell setup for many years. Fit - The RBK 8k is the first of its kind - a traditional pant, but with an independent girdle-style padding. What makes it great is that adjustments can be made to accommodate leg size. It has one belt that goes around the waist and one that goes around the kidney protection to bring it in closer. 10/10 Protection- The pant has no gaps in protection once the padding is set in the right places. The padding around the hips and tailbone is very solid, and the girdle padding is the same as a traditional pant. 10/10 Weight - Not light as a feather, but no slouch either. Durability- The shell's material is very strong - high quality denier. It almost feels like a canvas bag. I haven't had any problems with the belts or loose stitching either. 10/10 What I Would Change - I have a couple of issues with the pant. One, I'd love to have the two-piece version (not available in North America due to patent issues) with two sets of buttons so that I can move the shell up. I had to move the girdle padding up but the shell still stays the same length, so it kind of sags down by the knees. Also, I would extend the velcro pad on the thigh pad so that I can get them tighter. The pad was shifting on me last time I skated and had to crank down on them to get them tighter. Also, I would put a velcro tab on the shell to keep the zippers closed - I'm not a fan of open zippered pants. Also, keep in mind that when you do put them on, you have to loosen the zippers and undo the thigh pads in order to get your legs through them. Conclusion - Very well-constructed, protective and innovative pant. I see an MSH Product of the Year in RBK's future. Overall Rating - 9.5/10

Maybe you should learn how endorsements work and quit speculating. Because that's all you are doing at this point. -
2005 Easton Catalogue Review

Is what legal? He doesn't have an endorsement deal with Graf or Bauer...he has one with Easton. -
I haven't seen too much of Hedican. I have read about how fast he is, but not about how he gets to that speed. How would you classify him? Hell, I don't know. I can barely skate myself. His kids will be amazing, considering who his wife is. Good genes...

No mention of Bret Hedican?

http://www.modsquadhockey.com/index.php?act=boardrules You're getting real close. -
Yep, it's the sharpener.
-
Yep, that's exactly what they did. The problem is, that is the shape of Easton steel - the front is round. You have to be careful and start lower, not at the end. After a while, it'll shape out and look like a standard blade.
-
Actually it's Strong Whip.
-
I never did them.

Yes. GX800 Gels that just fell apart...

No, he started using them in games in 2000. I watched him break them in pregame skates when they came out in 98, but never used them in games.

2005 RBK Catalogue Review
JR Boucicaut replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2005 Product Catalogue Reviews
Available only in Europe. It is the same pant as the RBK 8k but in a two-piece form (bottom outer shell is removable) -
What if he has a really narrow, shallow foot? He'd be swimming in those skates.
-
All three of those skates fit differently. That's the thing with Graf, if you can't try them on, I suggest not buying them online.
