Broke up with the girlfriend of a year and a half. Been a pretty tough couple days. The positive is we parted ways on good terms which makes things a little easier

got one in the for sale section haha that sucks though man great sticks for sure. Anyways I had a terrible game last night in the faceoff circle. lost all 5 defensive zone faceoffs I took and only won 1 overall. I am pretty much our team d zone faceoff guy and after all that in the first period found myself riding the pine the rest of the game. Really hope Im in the lineup tonight as we have 10 guys who are healthy scratches right now.

1 week and broke 3 sticks. One on a one timer one blocking a shot and the other was being caught in between an opponent and the boards. The latest happened today and was only the second time on the ice with it. Luckily this one has warranty

Man you dont even know. We lost to a team this year that hadnt won a game in 3 years. 3 years!!! And our team is defending league champs(only maybe 7 or so guys left from that team but still)

yea I honestly think I'm just going to try and sell them on here as the repair should fix the problem but the skates arent quite what I had expected anyways and are a bit big for me. The store that I dealt with was very helpful and are fixing them for me for free as they agreed they should have been warrantied but there is nothing either of us can really do as it is bauers decision. Hopefully I can get some money back so I can put it towards some skates that fit me better.

looks like bauer wont be replacing my flexlites as they say because my skates (flexlite 4.0) are basically new (used them for a month) the having the boot rip right through and the tenon guard falling off is user fault. I do not yank on the tenon guard taking off my skates after hearing many stories about the one 90's

totally joking man. It was just nice to have a day of not worrying about all of my commitments thats all. Back to the grind early tomorrow morning though

First day of not having to work or play hockey in about a month and a half. I love playing and all but its nice our coach gave us the day off today. Now I can do something productive with my time like play NHL 10 for 4 hours.

Had a terrible practice last night. It was very rattling. To top it off I broke my stick on a one timer that I've only had for about a week.

Atleast he knows who to "deal with" if thats what he feels is necessary or is pissed as I'm sure he is. But honestly that is a pretty crappy situation for your buddy.

Problem is it has started to rip through the back part of the boot. The store I bought them from are sending me some used skates which are not going to fit at all for me to use as I cant make my way on the ferry as im extremely busy. So im shipping them to the store hoping for a fix or possibly new skates. I am pretty happy they are even willing to send me some skates to use in the mean time. I would have never expected that at all. Great service there for sure

noticed my tenon guard is on the verge of ripping right off my 1 month old pair of flexlite 4.0's. I bought them in Vancouver and im really hoping I dont need to make the 80 dollar ferry ride over there. That added to the fact I cant just send my skates away because our team is in the middle of the first round of playoffs is starting to get to me. Oh well

My steel broke last night about 5 minutes into practice. Worse part about it is that our practice started after all the LHS in the area were closed. Wouldn't have been a problem if we didnt have early morning practice this morning. Had to use my brothers skates. Feet were killing. He wears D skates I wear EE.

Took a slapper off the ankle in practice last night. I can barely walk. Problem is we have a game today and we are extremely short on guys due to call ups and suspensions. Ice all day and last night better help

Funny you mention that. I'm getting my entire room reno'd because it flooded. That could be a factor. My gear gets cleaned a couple times a season so I'm hoping anyways thats not it.

So since the hockey season has started mid september for me I've been feeling healthy for about 2 weeks in total. It feels like I've been sick forever. It's getting to be quite frustrating

So my mom gave my girlfriend my season tickets to our home games (They give us a set that we can give to our family) because she wanted to go and take a friend as my mom was unable to make the game. So my girlfriend lost the tickets and then bitches me out because i told her I'm not going to ask the owner of our team for more because it makes her feel bad that she lost them. Not my fault you lost the tickets!

Planning on going to the game in Vancouver on dec 20 so excited. Can't wait to see him live

RIP I loved watching some of his fights... When I was really into boxing he was my favorite boxer. He had some ridiculous fights.

Haha yeah it was a good ratio Yup it would have definately been adding that to the venting thread if it was all guys.

A little while ago we had our prom after party.... it was absolutely nuts!!! we organized it and it ran us about 20 bucks each.... almost 200 kids, some free alcohol, jello wrestling and wet t shirt contests! I call that a good night.
