Got fit and received my knee brace today (had surgery to remove/repair torn meniscus and shredded cartilage/plica), and get to skate for the first time in 6 months on monday, followed by my birthday tuesday. I am so excited!

November 2nd. McRib is back.

I would.definitely buy custom 4 rolls. My favorite glove I've owned at least 15 different pairs at one time or another. Color customization would be great, but what I want most is an extremely short one piece cuff. I would.definitely pay...

Recovering at home now from surgery on my knee. Should be good to go for WF with a lil rehab!

Having a father who has a catastrophic spinal injury similar to that, I can certainly relate to his family and wish him as full a recovery as possible. Definitely hard to watch, it's going to be an issue that young man is going to have to deal with for the rest of his life. If he can get to walking its a start, but the things inside his body are going haywire. Really makes me sad to see this and i wish his family all the strength and hope i have to get him well.

Well the orthopedic doctors think they figured out the problems with my knee. I go in for arthroscopic surgery on the 21st (just enough time to rehab and get on the ice for WinterFest!). So im pretty excited that after 6 months of pain, something is getting done. And another for today: My brother added the movie 'Stir Crazy' to netflix instant que and we watched it before i went to work this morning. What a great way to start the day!

Playing perhaps one of my best rounds of golf ever, 17 hole was a long par 5. Riding in the cart (buddy was driving) i wasn't sitting fully back as we were looking for balls. Full speed. As we turned slight left on an incline, the grass shielded a bump. We hit it and i was thrown from the cart. Deep rib contusion with one fractured. Finished the hole, but couldnt play 18. Ended shooting a 75 through 17, but now i cant swing, and it hurts to do anything.

Rained a bit this morning, but was still able to play golf. Front 9 was rough, but I pulled it together and shot a 39 on the back. 6 pars 3 bogeys. Missed 2 birdie putts, so it could have been better, but one of my best 9 holes ever.

Finally got a vacation. Much needed break from work and everything, now I get to sit and look out at the ocean every morning this week. Long drive to Myrtle Beach. But for this view, worth it.

Finally got the call from the orthopedic oncologist about my knee. Need to come in for an office visit. Earliest appointment: september 13. damn

Got to play some golf today. Great except by the back nine i could hardly drive. My right knee just couldnt support my swing. Still played decently, but my pain and instability in my knee hasnt faded since April. Freakin doctors. Cut me open or do whatev and fix me already...

Exactly, DS50. Original doc thinks maybe meniscus or cartilage damage, but since the cyst is so far into the joint and not surfaced, I'm going to see a cyst and tumor specialist who will help decide where we go from there. As opposed to the original doc cutting me open and hoping to find the cause of my pain, instability, and the cyst. I'm just hoping to get in pretty quickly (with my hospital connections I should be able to). Grim outlook for hockey/tennis and other sports this year though..

Saw the orthopedic surgeon about my knee again today. He has no idea what to do about it, MRI was inconclusive except to show I have a large 'cyst' inside the joint. Since cortisone injection did nothing at all, I now have to go see an orthopedic surgeon specializing in oncology. Fantastic...

Got to play golf today for the first time in over a year. Was great to get to play with my Dad again, and a few buddies from work. Shot an 87, and had beautiful weather. It's a great day...

I traded this game in for Red Dead Redemption. Don't regret it one bit... The number of people using lag switches in MW2 is ridiculous. -
I've been following Chelsea for quite some time now. I'm fortunate that I have a good deal of friends also into soccer around here. Most of the state could care less, so I'm glad I got to celebrate with some people of knowledge... As far as ManU goes... poor JR :D

Chelsea wins the title!

Supposed to rain like crazy here. Sad that i wont get to shoot my new gun this weekend but there is a bright spot: Terrible storms expecting close to 4 inches of rain between friday night and sunday morning. Suck on that Kentucky Derby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched his career develop here after transferring from juco. Really became a key piece of the defense this past season, and had a good year. Glad to see he got signed.

Blackstone Flat-Bottom V Thread

You have to use both numbers together. Just because the second number, say 50, is lower than 75, you have to use it in conjunction with the first number to determine bite. If i am interpreting the info correctly: A 100/50 will have more distinct 'bite' than a 90/75, because even though the height of the 'fang' is smaller (50 as opposed to 75 [in 10 millionths]), The angle is different due to the amount of flat area (.1 as opposed to .9[inches]). A 100/50 will have more bite than a 90/50 because the angles being different due to the length of flat. Bite and glide is the direct relation of length of the flat (first number) and height between flat area and edge of blade (second number). Neither number will tell you and exact angle, although one could possible be determined (pythagorean theorem?). So the more flat area is on a blade, the sharper the angle will be on the height of the 'fang', to the edge of the blade (is there another term BS would rather us use than fang? dont know what else to call it in simple terms) Thats how i understand it to be... From blackstone's website, here's how they describe it, hopefully its easier to understand than my eplanations :D
