Have any of you guys tried SuperFeet with your X60's yet? If so, did SF affect the way your heel locked into the skate compared to the X60's insole? How comparable is SF with the X60's insole?
-
Nice pick up Guitarmy, you're gonna enjoy them as much as I did the first time I used mine!
-
Busted, I meant a mini review after my first skate in them :P Anyways, after my skate in the X60's on Friday the skates definitely felt much better then the previous Vapor skates. The heel lock portion was beefier then the 40's and I had no heel slipping issues. Didn't really notice any benefits from the moisture wickening liner on the heel. The forefoot area was surprisingly roomier as I felt no pressure points and the fit was snug, not tight and uncomfortable after a couple hours of hockey. IMO probably my last pair of skates!

i'll give my full review once i pick them up this week and give them a try on friday night

Bauer has improved on the x60's ankle support/cushion. I myself have had problems with the XXV where my right heel would slip to the point I didn't wanna bother trying the new x60, but surprisingly after trying on the one95's and the x60, the new x60's are very supportive in the ankle and heel area. I say go for it and try the new x60's on at the store and walk around in them for a bit.

those are some nice lookin gloves larivee, what size are they?
-
Yea i saw those khavanov gloves as well lol. The sticks are new as the tape were fresh, they do have that sticky residue on it like the kubina's. what did you use to remove them? I don't think I'll ever use my Sundin gloves as it was more of a sentimental/memorabilia purchase. This was my first pro sale so hopefully at the next one I can pick up some blake gloves to use!
-
the dolo is not a stajan cuz its a righty. i didn't go so my girlfriend went for me she was about the 50th in line a half hour before the sale started. she actually had those sundin mission gloves in her hand when she called me, cuz i told her to try to grab stajan's or kaberle's warrior gloves but i told her to put sundins back and get the nbh 4rolls. were the clearance gloves any good? nice of your gf to go for you! but that's crazy, 50th in line half hour before the sale! i didnt' get there until 11ish cause my little cousins wanted to go so i got pretty lucky with the sundin gloves. because i got there late it's hard for me to say if there were any nice gloves in the clearance bin, but they were gloves of players from previous years (khavanov, berg) or they were pretty beat up.

nice pick up on the globes number18, was the dolo a Stajan? I was looking for those but the guys there said Grabo and Stajan's sticks were the first batch sold. Side note: they also had clearance gloves around $30-$40

K9 unit: sorry about the photo, the Blake pretty much uses a Lindros P88 curve lotus, vnderachiever: Thanks, yea a larger Mission logo would've been nicer, but either way I'm happy I got'em. I learnt my lesson this time around to get there earlier as all of Blakes gloves were gone and so were Stajan and Grabovski's sticks.

Items I picked up this morning at the Toronto Maple Leafs Equipment sale held in their dressing room: -Mats Sundin Mission/Warrior gloves -2 x Jason Blake NBH Vapor 40's -Pair of brand new socks for literally nothing I was debating on taking Blake's SE16 but they all seemed to have some weird tacky residue on the blade, like it was torched and the paint bubbled. I got really lucky with the Sundin gloves as they were the last ones and I got there pretty late. Surprisingly for a big guy like Sundin, the gloves felt like 13" Narrows

nice set up jbyun04, love the warrior canucks gloves! for a second i was gonna ask you if you play with some buddies of mine on team Onnuri, but then i noticed you're out in BC lol
-
looks to me like someone stepped on it and the runner helped made it a clean break on the blade that totally sucks dude, warranty it and see what you get!
-
Hey Snipez96, where did you pick up the 5100 at and how much was it going for?
-
good to know they run on the big size! btw, i like the pink tiles and green tub! :P
-
the EASTON part also doesn't line up with the shaft, not sure if that's a manufacturing defect/mistake
-
definitely looks off to me..that totally sucks!
-
thanks, spent about an hour masking off the areas, and in the end it was well worth the time and effort. i wish i had another pair of vapors to play with as i have another design in mind :D
-
wow drewhunz, 34 pairs! that's just crazy! lol btw, i got bored today after a grueling law exam and i decided to go crazy with the spray paint and metallic silver pen been debating if i should do this for awhile now, but i decided OH WTH! went ahead with it. I used flat black paint instead as I wasn't too into the glossy black paint. not debating if i should go with black, white or the usual gold laces. also will be swapping in ls 2.1 runners soon... maybe some black ls2 holders as well!? B)

WOW either I totally missed it before or this was just recent, Warrior jacked their prices up on the custom Franchises!!! I CLEARLY remembered that they were about $200CDN about a month ago when I was playing around with the customizer, now they're about $250CDN!!! I guess I'll never get my Franchises :(
