I get a great deal because my friend/bandmates dad is best friends with the owner of Long and McQuade so Im only paying $250 for the month, I couldnt tell you how much it would cost to rent it at regular price. For anyone who is interested I rented a Line 6 HD 147 head and a Marshall 4x12 cabinet. Yea there is a PA but it sucks; they better not make me hook up through it, but I guess I gotta do what I gotta do.

Edge those custom Easton gloves are niiiice. Could you please PM me with how much they ran you and what your options were? Thanks.

Sherwood21 your gunna be playing for a hell of a team next year. SAC always does well. Last year they won the St. Mikes invatational, my HS team played them and we could barley keep up (mind you for a public school we did better than most). All I know is that your gunna be in for some sweet hockey. Have fun.

I'm not sure if you ski, but think of stopping on skates like stopping on skis. Worked for me anyways.

I saw the 7K's on greatskate.com and thought the caps looked alot smaller. JR, I know you said they are lower, but any idea how much?

There is red, blue and white stiffnesses. If I remember correctly it goes red, blue, white from stiffest to least stiff. The F-I-T system is kinda of like a skate bake in the fact that they help mold the skates to your feet, however the F-I-T doesn't use heat to do it.

Whats the deal with the Z-Bubble Complete or whatever its called? A fused Z-Bub and Z-Carbon?

Im likeing those L7 gloves. I think I've found the replacements for my HGT's already :D

Elbow Pads: TPS Flexor, these babys are sweet, they have saved my arms more than once from dirty slashes Gloves: TPS prostock York HGT's, amazing, simply amazing. Easton UL Pro's, also very nice, however the wrist wrap sucks. Pants: Bauer Pro Stock, best...pants....ever... Shin Pads: TPS Contour, I like them alot, but they move around too much Skates: Nike V-12, ugly as hell, but they fit my goofy ass feet Jock: Good ol' yellow Itech Sticks: Inno 1100 w/ focus flex blade, TPS Tricore w/ TPS Pro Stock Retail blade, TPS Rubber w/ TPS Pro Stock retail blade, Synthesis w/ Lidstrom Synthesis blade, soon to have a Stealth.....sticks broken this year: TPS Response +, Hespeler Alpha Nemesis, TPS Tricore, various woodys

Helmet: Bauer 5000 (EDIT) Cage: Bauer Tru-Vision which will never change, just great Shoulder Pads: SherWood 5030 light weight, small, low profile, just awesome, just bought new M-2s(EDIT) Elbow Pads: Bauer 5000's too big and bulky, new TPS Contours, sweet pads(EDIT) Gloves: Easton Ultra Lite with wrist wrap, and TPS HGTs, by far the best gloves I have ever worn (EDIT) Pants: Bauer Pro. Can't say enough about them, absoloutly in love Shin Pads: Really, really old ones, I don't even know what they are because the logo's are gone. Looking into TPS Contour ones Skates: Graf 502's, like them alot. Wish I had the money for 705's Sticks: Tricore with PTC Tkchuck blade, absoloute TANK. THis thing takes a beating and a half and still preforms great. Awesome puck feel, snap, and weight is good too, and I love Pro-Radius. Synthesis with shaved down SherWood blade, Response + Tkchuck curve in the mail! (EDIT)

Bauer 5000 Helmet I’ve been using this helmet for 2 years, and I think the only helmet I’d ever use again is the 5000. Fit- The 5000 fits comfortably on my head. It can be adjusted tight enough to fit my head so it won’t move around, but loose enough that it won’t squeeze my head and give headaches (a problem I’ve had with other helmets). Also keep in mind that the fit of any helmet is P.P. 9/10 Protection- The 5000 is well-known for being one of the most protective helmets around. Probably not as protective as the Nike Quest or the 1052 but I’ve taken more than my fair share shots to the head with this helmet and no concussions to date (knock on wood). 9/10 Weight- The helmet is fairly light, probably somewhere between the Itech HC100 but definitely lighter than the CCM 1052. Weight isn’t really a big problem for me but this helmet is defiantly not that heavy. 8/10 Durability- I used the same helmet for a year and a half, and the shell and interior padding stayed intact well, considering I used it 5-6 times a week. Not a crack in the plastic. 8/10 Intangibles- I had to replace this helmet because the front jell-pack popped. Kind of annoying but the helmet served me well. I also wasn’t pleased with the colour selection, because my team is sort of in-between the two blue colours Bauer retails. Over all though, other than the jell-packs, not too bad. 8.5/10 Conclusion- If those jell-packs wouldn’t have popped this helmet would have been a 10/10 but because of that I’m going to have to drop the rating to a 9/10, overall a great helmet, that I would reccomend to anyone.:D
