    It's cutting into my sleep time, my running time, my family time, my reading time... haha. Although I've been mello this week, I haven't caught JR and you guys online this weekend. yeah most of us have been on late at night (east coast time) lately. When you get on prepare to really only hear 2 things: "tango sucka" and "do work son!". :D \ I had an AC130 last night doin' work! DP, Crispy and his boy jumped in last night. DP's getting better, Drew got Martyrdom so whenever his ass dies he'll still get a kill... Last AC-130 I got was on terminal. Had to wait till people were in skylights to fire. I did get a chopper gunner on highrise which was brutal =)

    Do they rule retail now, no, but JOFA did rule retail for quite awhile (90s and into 2000s) and heavily I might add. As far as white protective, I don't think there's a problem with the outer shell being white; the lining is mostly dark and those are the areas that are going to see sweat and grime the most. DS, what I see is shop managers and owners trying to be too much to their clients (not saying your store; speaking in general). That is what ultimately fails them because they try to carry everything in the marketplace instead of being great at what they do in their area. Take some extra time, choose your 2-3 brands that your going to carry in protective, and move on. As far as Warrior gaining momentum, I'm wondering about the move to goal and why they felt it was needed so soon. Goal is a major headache, especially the domestic manufacturing of it as high goal has become a custom business. How much will this take away from their domestic production of hockey gloves? I'm wondering about why soooooooooooooooooooo many lines of gloves, and pants! The number of SKU's in general is mindboggling! Their marketing machine certainly works well! Around here (Tampa) their sticks have just exploded that last 6 months or so. Still only two guys in my league wearing the gloves, and one wearing pants. Haven't been to a youth game in a while, but among the Adults it's mostly Bauer and Easton in protective.

    Race, myself, and jsmart were beating down pubs last night. Almost every map it was one of us on top, and often we were the top three. Great games!

    where did you get that? ebay I also got an away and third from the same seller how much did you pay cause i would love one of those $300 for the set (Home, Away, 3rd) =) It was a helluva deal.

    I love them- though they are not the most durable or well constructed pants I've ever used. They were Evgeny Artyukhin's so they are pretty big.

    I've got two sets of the new style pro stock pants (Warrior Hustlers and Easton Pro's) and a full set of pro stock edge socks to match =) I've only worn the pants and the socks out though. The jerseys are for wearing to games. I'll try and get a pic of the pants collection soon. Jofa's, RBK's, Nike's, all kinds of neat stuff. Joey, nice collection. The SE's on the right are aces!

    9177's are longer. TBLFan said he had his modified to be shorter.

    I know the 8k Pro's are made in sweden. They also have the felt/cloth interior like the old Jofa shin pads. Do the retail 8k's have that?

    The JOFA/RBK elbow pads are very stiff and a bit uncomfortable at first, but break in very nicely.

    Skates twice with the 8K pros so far this week- love them. Extension doesn't bother me at all, feels great on the ice and the size 5's are locked on my elbow, no adjusting them every whistle blow. Tossed my teammate my 9077's in size 6 to use for a game, he kept them ;) oh shoot i forgot soz here's mine, no pro but still a freaking tank and i got these 2 days ago, dupuis gloves, epro with synergy graphics i think, single layer clarino palms, very comfy, crazy light (even my dad mentioned it and he doesn't know jack about hockey eq. lol), dupuis must be nuts or something coz there's no plastic inserts in the fingers On my SE style Easton Pro's the finger inserts are sandwiched down in the foam as well. If you want crazy- I sold a pair of Matt Pettinger pro stock NBH 4-Rolls that JR sold via a team sale because they didn't have any- and I mean not 1, anywhere- plastic insets. Not even a lock thumb. They were buttery soft and super light- but good god, they reminded me of the old mylec street hockey gloves from the 80's.

    Those look kind of like Prospal's JR, I've never seen 8k Pro's without the extension, only 7k Pro's, can you post a pic?

    Can you post a pic? The material on the 8k Pro Cuff Extension is very similar to the material on the 7K shoulder pad's caps....... The extensions are stiff as hell. The one for my lower hand actually interferes with my glove....and the cuff is SHORT:

    As far as I can tell, at least in the Pro series, nothing changed but the graphics (9144 Pro is 7k Pro, 9177 Pro is 8k Pro). I can't say on retail. I also have these, which are a 6 and were identical to my 8k Pro's in 6 (except for the wrist extension of course). I decided I needed a 5.

    Agreed. Have always loved my Jofa shins. Only had two pair over my entire hockey "career".

    Snagged these off Ebay- The elusive Size 5! New except for the marker from the team they came from. They fit a little different than I expected, we'll see how they break in.

    Never seen that model of easton pro pant before. Interesting. Maybe the same one we were trying to identify in the sightings thread? Is the belly pad cut out of those Hustlers?
