I think black laces with white tracers would look good on those skates.

Were those Halpern's?

Easton 4-rolls with the old oval logo, I believe.

Nice Frolunda jersey....

Awesome mitts, Automorph!

you could try oxyclean paste.i haven't tried it, but i have thought about it for may maple leafs looking 5000's and 4-rolls.
I used the DecoColor extra fine (black) on my Easton 4-rolls last night. On the side of the palm, it says "Rycroft" in white embroidery. I used the pen on it and the first coat darkened it, but not enough to where I wanted it (Spinal Tap Black). So I waited an hour and did it again and that second coat made it really, really black. I did it again before I went to bed but it didn't seem to make a difference. So, bottom line - 2 coats are definitely needed, but as of yet, no "purpling." I'll try to get pics up later.
The real test (for me anyway) is how it will work on the NBH 4-roll backrolls.

Logo's brutal.....they should have just had the "X" be in the same font/size as the "60"

No idea....but you may want to try a white paint pen and "test" a small area of the glove that isn't normally looked at to get a better idea of what you should do.

Nope :)
I mean I've never done it. I have some Eastons that I am going to try the pen on first - they are Mark Rycroft pro stocks and I am going to black out his name with the pen before I touch the 4-rolls. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm going to black out everything on the backrolls so they look like those SJS gloves - I am going to use a DecoColor paint pen to do it.
-
I just ordered those 4 rolls yesterday :)
I think I am going to black out the gray on the backrolls though....

Man I want one of those MSH bags so bad but my shoulder/back is tweaked and I need a backpack......d'oh.

Those 95's are sexy. I have wanted to dye the holders black on my pair too but think I would screw it up. You will have to post pics once you get that done. Will do :)

David Perron is close to signing on with Reebok as well.http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Andy-Strick...hanahan/5/17175
Yet another dream come true (to be sponsored at that level).....unbelieveable.

Oh yeah? Well, certainly can't go wrong with those!

(Easton Robitailles)Everyone knows how I love me some Easton 4-rolls, but I am not a fan of the outer stripes on the backrolls! Aside from that, awesome gloves :)

Yeah, those were sweet. I like the more unique warrior color schemes but I'm a sucker for those Caps ones too.
-
I wouldn't necessarily order the Kovalchuks - I just wanted to know if I could pick colors other than those in the template :)
-
I have one...I love it. I have a flypuck too and it's not bad either.

If I wanted a specific team design, like Ottawa or Buffalo and sent them pics of NHL'ers wearing that scheme, do you think they could do it?

Fletch, does your ache like hi heaven when it gets crappy out. I've got a 6 inch plate in my right arm with 6 screws. Man is it painful 10 years later. I got blindsided at center ice with mine.Yep. Isn't that the weirdest thing? Sometimes I get what I call "stingers" if I hit it on something, or get hit in a game and it basically makes my arm so painful I can barely rotate the forearm for a week. I also have a 4 inch plate on my radius in that arm. The first time I broke it I literally broke it in half to where it looked like I had 2 elbows. It was gnarly ;).
just bought them off ebay yesterday to replace my navy/baby blue NBHone90s :DMissconduct, those are beauties. I wonder how one would go about ordering custom ones like that from Warrior, since their site doesn't allow you to do that color scheme........(?)

Kevlar palms (Itech I-90)? My friend wishes to god he could still find a pair though....
Show It Off
in Ice Hockey Equipment
Posted · Edited by Fletch · Report reply
I don't really have much equipment worthy of showing off besides my One95's for roller (which I have posted pics of way too many times to post them again here) and my beloved Mark Rycroft Easton 4-rolls. These gloves are flat out amazing and I love 'em. They originally had a mustang palm but I didn't like it so I had FIBM replace it with a black clarino single layer palm. I also used a DecoColor black paint pen to black out Rycroft's name, which after 2 coats got pretty black - it looks lighter here than it really is because I bounced the flash because lighting in my family room sucks. Besides being feather-light and feeling great on my hands, these gloves just "look" cool. I'm a sucker for traditional cuffs, traditional cuff rolls and straight backrolls. I cannot recommend Easton 4-rolls to people enough looking for top feel and performance from a glove (pro stock/pro return - not the crappy retail ones).
