Blades are a dying business. If they are around in 5 years it'll be pretty exclusive to one or two companies. If you are in love with something, I'd suggest starting to stock-pile.

HTX officially is mid-June. I wouldn't be surprised if LHS have the sticks earlier though since Easton tends to send stores product a couple weeks before internet launch. -

Makes sense - I don't even know where my catalog went so I was going off memory. The hard part is seeing this stuff 6 months before launch and then having to relearn everything. -
I wonder how much abuse goes on during the programs. We told our employees its for them and them only & if they aren't wearing the skates they'll be in trouble. It makes it a little easier to control when you only have 8 employees though ha.

Between One.9 and 180 - yes. Between One.9 and 190 - not so much. The 180 will have the same Curv composite quarter panel, however there is a different as far as liner, tongue and with the samples I saw - stiffness. 180 was softer than the 190, even though both have the curv composite material. Could have just been what I saw but there was a difference. If you are looking at buying the one.9, especially on clearance, go for it. -

From my rep... E7 is dead because a majority of players were migrating towards e36/p88. E7 apparently only sold really well in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri. Everywhere else it was their number 3 or 4 best selling curve. Guess the market wasn't big enough to keep it as an option and decided to focus on the e36 -

Most sharpeners see steel and hone it. Kind of like fat kids getting drawn into a candy machine, just happens. I don't think too many people don't know you aren't supposed to hone it? I made sure my guys don't but it just takes one guy...- 117 replies

What is the ring test? We've yet to have a wheel blowup - just make sure spacer is on & its tightened down snug and we've been fine.

Oh yes, discounted would always be better. Same with NXG to the 190/180 for instance. The m8 is really solid skate - at that PP its right there with the X90/X100, 190 etc -

For clarification it was mentioned that Nexus comes out in Summer. The stick line is available and launches same time as Supreme skates, Vapor gear, etc. April 17th I believe? The rest of the Nexus line (skates, protective) comes out in June. I believe the 20th is official launch. 2.1 is dead - Bauer no longer produces it. It is not made in LSEdge. -

If it can actually be proven to significantly improve the safety of players with concussions - and I mean significantly - it will do amazing. However I doubt they'll be able to prove that in any way shape or form. If a company came out with a legit concussion proof helmet - a $399 or $299 price tag is in no way out of the question - and it would sell well, too. If I have kids that play hockey, I don't care how much it would cost to keep them safe - if my budget for skates and helmet are $500, I'll gladly spend $300 of that on a helmet and then $200 skates, instead of $100 or $200 helmet with $300-$400 skates. -

Just different. Felt like a cross between the x7.0 & x6.0.
