Clearly. Leafs may not have played fantastic after the alfredsson goal but that was also stupid, Michalek was clearly diving as he was out a few shifts later, a small cut shouldn't stop you from taking a penalty shot. What he did was smart, however it was kinda greasy. Alfredsoon scored a nice goal but the high stick should have been waved off.

The keypad code on my car was super easy to guess by button mashing (one of those ford 5 number codes you punch in to open the door). Anyways, i get back from class to drive home and my cars full of garbage right up to the windows in the front and quite a bit in the back, my trunk is also completely full. Cost me $120 to get my door keypad disabled entirely. Could have done something a bit less messy ..

I wish samsonov shot left ..

I dont know about your laws but in Canada just about everyone under the age of 25 has most if not all of there windows tinted 5% black, im just doing my back seat and rear window though to play it safe because its illegal to tint the fronts for a multiple of reasons, one being driver viability and 2 being so the police can get a description of the driver. I would suggest taking your vehicle to someone to get it done unless your good at it, its really tricky and cheap tint looks like crap, its purple no matter whats on the box and it almost always bubbles within a few days.

The leafs surpassed my expectations, i may be a little biased but i felt as if they lost out of pure bad luck.

Make fun of grand marquis's all you want but its actually the mintest shape car at that age ive seen without any restoration. I paid 3000 for it, it works great and looks good too, its a daily driver that im using to get me to school so i dont need (or can afford) a bmw or an audi. The only thing im doing to it is a bit of a window tint and maybe some flow master mufflers, i have dual exhaust on it now from the factory.

Fixed the traction control by picking up a 97, its in better shape honestly, my parents are going to drive the 03 and the 97 only has 90k on it, the frames great and theres not a single spot on the car, its as shiny and clean as new, the interior still smells new and it works great. Performance and handling package on it too, fully loaded.
-
Yeah, theres two behind where the spare tire goes, not sure which one to pull. If i pull the traction control one, will it 100% disable it? Its no fun to not be able to peel the tires a bit here and there.
-
Is there any way of getting traction control off for good? I ended up going with a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis Ls, its got traction control and i cant figure out how to turn it off, i was told that the newer ones had a switch but i cant find it, its useless and just bogs my motor when im going around turns and stuff. Rather have it off.

I just went ahead and put my truck up for sale, the sale will be final tommorow, going to get a good deal on a 04 gmc sierra with a 5.3 vortec in it, v8 and fully loaded. Ill post up pictures, my dad is also trading our van to get a truck as well.

For the first time in 3 years I felt as if the leafs had a serious chance to actually do better then close to last in there conference, seeing the preseason games, they have a lot of young talent and some talent that really needs to step it up but i was overall pleased and even surprised ; kadri clearly has a great deal of skill and exelby is better in his own end then i could have anticipated. Of course im biased, but im really loving this team.

Took a 240sx for a spin the other day, what a fun car! I was surprised on how quick one of those little things are, much rather have one over a monte carlo after trying one out. Now to find one ..

My friend has a fox body 5.0 and it works great, reliable car drives it all winter.
-
A newer mustang would probably hold together a lot better then a mid 80's car.
-
Im really just looking for decent power and torque, my chev half ton now has fine power but its only 2 door and i only have room for one person. I had a grand marquis and it was also okay but the frame was bad. You are right though, a monte carlo would not make a good daily driver. On the other hand, what would that would fit my criteria?
-
I fully understand and agree with a big deal of what you just said and in all honesty your probably right, buying an 80's car wouldn't be as fun as a modern car, but in reality what choices do i have for modern v8's? I cant really spend more then $8000 on a vehicle and theres not very many cars around here with v8's in them or similar power in my price range that i have seen for sale. I always loved the monte carlos since the days where my grandfather had one and took me out in it. It was so fun going around town with it and it was just a cool car plain and simple. I really would just want a car that lays down some strips of rubber and has a bit of power, turning isnt a big deal seeing as its not going to be driven on many turns and what not, mostly straight stretches anyways. The only 'muscle' cars i see around in my price range are mustangs, monte carlos, firebirds and an impala ss. I will always love driving with a big v8, nothing beats it. My grandfather always owned them, my father always had them and there just something i really enjoy. Sure they dont have a lot of modern technology but as far as laying down strips of rubber and driving fast goes, there fun. I woudlnt mind driving an accord or something of that nature though with a v6 either, its really a tough call. Something i really want vs something i know will be a good reliable car for years to come.

It looks like this and you want to know if we think it's a good, reliable car to be rarely driven? Why? Who would restore a 1987 Monte Carlo? And how is being fitted with aftermarket exhaust (and an engine?) being fully restored? By the way, you don't need to drive a car to have it rust, so yes, rust is a problem, especially if the owner has ever taken it out on winter roads or wet roads and not properly rinsed the undercarriage off. And also especially if it's an 80's domestic. Unless you're going to drag race it I think you're going to be sorely unhappy with the braking, shifting (if it has a period transmission), steering, seats (assuming they're not race seats), etc. You can probably get a 2002 3-door focus that is more fun to drive around town, then just dump on a turbo if you want to lay down rubber. Im actually looking at a 87 cutlass supreme, it has dual flow masters and a 350, american racing rims and its mint. I want one because there actually fun cars, 350's have decent power and there rear wheel drive, i cant see how a focus would be any more fun. I want a rear wheel drive v8 and most of whats available is limited to a grand marquis/crown vic or an old caprice, is all anyone drives around here. Gas money isnt a huge issue, i wont be driving a lot ive just always been a fan of the monte carlo/cutlass/grand national styled cars, my grand father had one briefly and since then i loved them.
-
Whats the word on the older style monte carlo/cutlass cars? Theres a 87 monte carlo with a 350 in it fully restored with flow masters on it and mint shape for 7500, im thinking of picking it up but i was kinda curious how good cars they were? I heard they did tend to rust out a bit but thats not that bad, i wont be driving it much anyways. Just curious, they break down a lot or any problems through the years i should avoid?

there not his. Some guy took pics of them and sent them to whoever asked initially Yeah, hes on facebook. I thought it was some sort of scam tell he actually emailed me the pictures.

Pretty pleased about the truck, already got 4 winter rims with a ring of chrome around the edge of all of them and a center cap, kinda look like the rims on a cop car, picked up 4 winter tires and 4 radial t/a's. Also going to have the truck painted two tone (white, gold bottom) and picking up some chrome and a full flowmaster true dual system. Gonna cost a lot, but it should be mint after that.

How is it not ironic? 420 stands for the 20th of April, the unofficial day for marijuana. Not only that, but the amount of money he stole to buy pot, for you to not see the irony is almost as stupid as the kid himself. On a side note, my dads heart surgery came along great, pretty happy for him. Its his birthday today and I got my license. Looks like a good day so far.

Yup. Took every lefty they had. There all drury though, and one of them my mom put away for christmas, lol. I paid for the rest though, 2 are taped for regular and backup, when one goes ill cut another one and use it, hopefully they last me awhile. I bought the last CNT at my LHS and it too was a Drury. I hated the curve so much I only used it twice and now I have it for sale or trade in the gear exchange. Hope you like yours better than I liked mine Whats the hand and flex on it? I could trade you a brand new forsberg 85 se if you shoot left maybe, inbox me.

After a long and lengthy search for cnt stealths not over 350 dollars in my hometown, i picked up 5 of them. It came to a lot of money, but considering how much sticks i have to sell, i should make it back quick. $149.99 each, and i think ive learned to like the drury curve. I had a clone on my dolomite and didnt like it, but i think it must have been the stick because my shot feels great. Its a change from my iginlas but its still not bad

Here... http://hockey1.com/product-info.asp?pid=76...p;x=91&y=58 Those are just another pair of e-pro's. You actually have to find pro stock, not "pro spec" gloves. Plus $159.99 for e-pros is hella steep.
