What's up with your palm there (on the blue and white franchises)? Is that a different overlay? Im referring to gr8erade's post -
Yeah, figured that out pretty quickly after it arrived and I posted the pic, atleast it was really cheap and I can wear it now. My apologies for wasting some space on this thread. Now lets get back REAL ice hockey equipment :)
-
Edit: iphone double post

Steve collected a fair amount off ebay and PSHG (as BJB said a few pages back). The shells and the vapor xxxx's were on PSHG a while back. He got one of the narrow franchises off IW about a week ago.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I've bought a lot of ebay so this isn't my first go around. I actually just wanted the winter classic jersey to wear at pickups and stuff, but for 30, that even cheap for a knock off haha.

Yeah, I was contacting Meigray to check if it's a fake. Also, that material is the authentic edge so is it just an authentic with a fake Meigray Cert? Im totally fine with it either way, on one hand, It'd be worth a bunch, on the other, I get to wear it an enjoy it for $30. I win either way! :)

So I was browsing Ebay the other day and I came across this jersey for sale. No one had viewed it and the seller had taken some lousy photos of it. Snagged it for $30 and this came to the house today.

Hossa's cuff is exactly as you say, a one piece with and shortened or undercut underside. The Savard, which is identical to a Morris (I've had both), is the same thing without the shortened underside. -

The black franchises above are hossa twist cuffs, tooOlds are the Savard cuff. -

I've heard from people that the creepers can have their cuff shortened, but thats it. -

Also, kinda cool. Joe and I were talking about some other color options and i asked about the winter classic dark brown tufftek and ^^he said they have a little left, enough for a glove :-) -
Thanks empire, i realized really quickly that the gloves I use and like the most tend to be more understated gloves (I just couldn't get use to having pinky stripes haha).

Absolutely agree with the above from shoeshine. Joe at warrior is great, but he's limited to custom orders in the states only. -
Some really mild and plain customs, but customs nonetheless. I really wanted an excuse to try out some of warriors extra customization options so I used these gloves as pseudo guinea pigs. Like the way they turned out and will give a test drive tonight. Was really pleasantly surprised by the digital palms, wasn't expecting them to be as soft and broken in as they are. I'm not sure if it's the mesh gussets, but the gloves in general don't feel as soft as when I order gloves with micronash gussets. Will definitely keep that in mind in the future. Have a few more ideas coming along for gloves :) Red Wings Franchises Hossa Cuff, White Mesh Gussets, Mustang Palm Black & White's Non-blooming cuff, Black Gussets, Digital Palm

The hossa and savard would be the shortest of the bunch. The non-blooming standard cuff is great, but not nearly as mobile as the hossa or savard (but, the non-blooming cuff is free while the other two are $60). I'll post the pics up of my gloves in a sec in the other thread. -

As for the cuff, you can order: Blooming cuff, standard cuff (cuff used previously to this year), hossa cuff (shorted undercuff that allows for better wrist movement), Savard Cuff (one piece cuff). You can also shorten the cuff on many of these as well. The narrow franchises are very comparable to eagle ppfs. Have you tried the standard micronash palm? It's fantastic and is durable. It does develop pilling sometimes but it's a great palm. -

No real secrets to maintaining the mustang palms. As with any gloves you should try to air them out properly (not in direct sunlight and not using hair dryers and stuff like that) and some like to use shaving cream on the palms to keep them soft. I also you sportstape on the butt of my sticks so its a little less abrasive than standard tape. I would post some pics up in the custom thread but the gloves I just ordered are relatively plain, so I'm waiting until another pair comes in and I'll post a couple up at once. -

Yeah, I remember seeing that in those posts too. The new material feels a little different and it seems a bit rougher and a bit off in terms of color (my red doesn't quite match the redwings red I have in my pro stock gloves). I'm not sure about the durability but will let everyone know if the new gloves begin to break down. The other thing I noticed was that the "warrior" isn't screened on like it was before, it's applied through this raised up tacky compound, should hold up better but looks a little different. -

My mustang palms have held up fantastically, I would highly recommend them, but they do require that you take care of them (as with any hockey gear). Pro Stock Hockey Gear does ship to Europe for any of their items and they have a bunch of custom warrior franchises orders going out (pre-made designs), I would contact them about shipping the gloves. As for foams, any are fine IMO. -

Anyone else notice (if their recent custom gloves have tufftek) that warrior has changed their tufftek material? It seems thinner and not as quality as some of my older warriors. -
Yeah, just got mine yesterday. They turned out great! They're pretty basic in terms of colors and whatnot but they have all the little customizations that I wanted so I'm pretty pumped.
