Recommended Posts

Justin, mentioned they would be launched at Narch finals this summer. Kevin at Epuck told me that Mission is telling them the official realease will be October or so.

No idea what they look like.

I am finishing up the line as we speak....Finalizing all the chassis, wheel specs, etc...I can't show pics yet, but let's just say this will be our best product line ever...Every skate has been up spec'd, and almost every issue people have brought up has been addressed....

After the year we had, we have to bring the best...

Is it a dream for me to expect the re-introduction of the VSi skate? Is it possible to ask if your staying with Factory and I assume the Hi-Lo chassis as well?

This is not the most on topic thing but since you seem to work for mission you can probably answer this. Is tit true that you had it out with Labeda and there Sensor frame layout wit the 76-72-80-80 format. I heard that you paten sued or something Labeda so they could not be used on tours new line of equipment? I don’t know I have just herd this from a few hockey people.

I hope so :)

The traditional eyelets are much more efficent

Maybe revision will come into the picture

I don't agree at all! The DNA eyelets combined with waxed laces work way better. When I put my D2's on, I tighten the laces, and that's where they stay. No retightening or other adjustments necessary. I hope Mission stays with DNA.

I thought the patent was clear about

A. only two different sized wheels

and

B. two distinct planes for the centerlines of the axels to sit upon

Nike used a loophole to "design" their frame for 3 different sized wheels, centerlines lying on two planes. How then is the Sensor not also exempt by have three sizes on three planes?

I would love to come back to Mission skates. I hope the one problem I had with the He line(which was the stiffner package) is improved. This is the first time I have never worn mission skates and we be looking forward to seeing the new skates.

i just hope they bring back the vibe classic in some way.

I still have a set of those I can sell you... They are essentially not even used.. You are probably the only person to ever say anything positive about them.

oh man... :( i loved my vibes and thought it worked great. i'll settle for neon lights on the bottom of the skates then B)

would it be safe to say that the new skates would be based on that new mission ice skate?

Hopefully it will be back to a more traditional looking boot. I didn't care much for the new helium line, but loved the D1c's/D2c's and the VS/VSI/VI line in 2001.

And back to a chassis like the old silver penetrator. Great chassis. (I like the plain ol' silver chassis on black boot look.) :D
