Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 The ultimate in Beer League technology? Indeed!2 are not enough. That depends on how many they'd fit. Besides, it's really just for your own private stash (after the room goes through the public supply ;) ) Let's see.... the bag is 36inches long, a bud can close to 5 inches tall, so..... it'd easily hold 14 beers? That seems about right. I had one of the Easton insulated bags I used to haul beer in before it fell apart. Was it useful/worth it? Seems a neat conversational peice, if nothing else.... Chadd 916 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 It was insulated and waterproof, perfect for carrying iced down beer. I was in a pich and used it as a puck bag once and it fell apart.

Oh, I see, says the blind man...I thought that there would be only two insulated cylinders for keeping a couple of gatorade bottles / beer cans cool.If only this bag had wheels and a stiff bottom... LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 2 are not enough. It holds more than two, but it's still not nearly enough. In my beer league, we have a schedule where one guy brings the beer each week. We have a case minimum.... like i said, not nearly enough room.
Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 Ditto in mine, however, a 12 pack in the bag is a nice back up for when you run out.

We have a case minimum.... like i said, not nearly enough room. Im my beer league the guys are so cheap, they wont buy ice, they just go out and use the old dumped zamboni ice to fill the coolers. Yup, nothing better than spit- infested ice cooling down your beers! That's the life of a true hockey player.

The beers, I mean sodas, stack on top of each other (top to bottom) in the sleeves, which are held in the bag by velcro straps. I will try to take photos tomorrow. Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted May 19, 2005 Hockey players drink beer? Who knew? TURK 182, that's who! :P Wow.... winner of the obscure movie quote of the day!(Zimmerman knew, and (someone) flew!)I don't know about the States (and elsewhere) but every rink up here has a big "NO ALCOHOL" sign in the dressing room.Yeah, they have that policy here too. But, for the adult leagues, it's a military like don't ask, don't tell policy. The unwritten rule is no glass (for liability reasons). Only exceptions seems to be those few rinks that have a liquor liscence (for they can get in trouble for on the premise drinking then with the law).
