One game last year, the goalie was being really cocky on the other team, and one of my team mates put a shot on goal. it ended up in the goalies skates, so i just sprinted up and checked him into the net. suprizingly they called the goal. ;)

When I did play competetive ice and roller I averaged like 2 goals a season. So needless to say, they were all pretty special to me haha

Anyhow, I remember playing college roller (for URI of the ECRHA, when we sucked) there were only a few seconds left in the period, I forget if it was the first or last period, but I fired a desperation slapper from about mid court.

It was waaaay off, but it hit a stick that happened to be lying on the court and redirected past a very surprised goalie, was against Penn State.

I had another goal in tryouts in a houseleague when I was a wee lad.....took a slapper, it went high stickside, hit the kid's blocker but knocked his blocker far enough back to pass the goal line. (Hormones hit me early, left me early :) )

EDIT: I should add I did not have a hard shot, the poor goalie was just years off from puberty.

Wanted to add separately, the most amazing I've ever seen, IMO better than the Hisey vid posted here was in an adult league roller game.

MDE knows the kid, Johnny Pinhiero.

He was on a breakaway against our goalie (he's a right shot) had it on the forehand, toedragged to his backhand then pulled it back ............... loooooked like he was gonna toss it on the forehand BUT.....

.........WITHOUT stopping the puck, he lays the backhand side of his blade on the sliding puck, scoops it up reverse michigan, so picture this now, because of the scoop the puck is on his blade on his left hand side, in the air and the goalie stayed w/ him!!!

Thought he was gonna stuff it in then and there, but instead of blowing his load, he turns his blade so he can swing the the puck back to his right hand side (still in the air) and tucks it in under the goalies armpit.

I swear this is 100% true and if you don't believe me, that's too bad cuz it was just a freak trick.

I only hope I explained it well enough to envision.

I try to do this standing still and I've only done it once, and poorly. How he did it skating at a good clip I'll never know.

playing drop in: clearing the zone. the goalie goes ot play hte puck behind the net. the puck hits some peice of the boards nad changes direction. well hte goalie was unable to recover and it goes in. we were laughing for 5 mins on hte bench.

Last year playing travel for a team cause thay needed an extra guy. Point man had it on the left point and I was stationed at the right hand post of the net, he gave me a flip pass from the point I caught it in mid air on my stick and "lacross" style put it in the net. Only thing I have to say was it wasn't skill, just dumb luck.

I've scored a few nice ones, between the legs, did a 360 and came out shooting top shelf, knocked a few around crossbar height in, a couple end to enders and Orr goals, but nothing really spectacular.

Pickup game, several years ago in a somewhat smaller rink, as I skated down the floor near the top of the right circles (I'm a RH) the defensman came at me. I passed the puck to myself off the boards past him. By this time I'm at the bottom of the circle. The puck came out rolling though and I just lifted in in the air and batted it in. That'll never happen again!

Lately I've gotten a wild hair and have been deking to forehand and putting it backhand with just my top hand on the stick (ala Peter Forsberg 1994 Olympic shootouts). It's actually worked since the goalie has been leaning with me bigtime to the forehand side. Kind of funny since I'm normally not a "flashy" player but it's been working so I'll go with it.

I've had a few decent ones but probably one of the best was a shot from behind the goal line and right behind the goalies knee. It doesnt sound to amazing but it was one of those the had people saying "How did he get that one in?"

Another was when I recieved a pass behind the net took it to the forehand got the goalie moving then pulled backhand and rung it of the crossbar.

One year I had 3 go in from behind the net. And the only other time I can think of is when I got a hat trick when I had the flu. It was my first hat trick in a real game and I wasn't even going to play. I remember the third goal I picked up the puck in the slot on my backhand, spun around, and put it topshelf. I subsequently hit the goalie in the head with my follow through and knocked him down. I think I got him in the neck. Between those and my first goal ever, I can't even really remember any other goals I had in competative hockey.

This was a college roller game. It had been a goalie's duel the whole game, 0-0 with 45 shots for my team and about 30 for theirs. We had been dominating but the other goalie was absolutely standing on his head, including the best robbery a goalie has ever put on me. On the goal, it was 4 on 4, and we had 3 defenders out by acident, so I played forward. Our other forward sprinted behind the net, from the goalie's left to right, and put a mid speed backhand pass straight out from behind the line. I was crashing the net from the goalie's left, and I stopped with a wide stance with my back towards the goal and let the puck come between my skates to my backhand. Then, I reached as far as I could to wrap puck around the goalie, who did the north south splitz then reached with his glove, but I had about 2 inches on him and wrapped it around the goalie far side, and somehow recovered to stay on my feet. I didn't celebrate though, cuz I was dead tired and he had already given me the greatest stuffing of my life. Game ended 1-0, hell yeah

Here's another one from tonight in my roller game. Score is 1-1, and im bringin the ball up the rink, and get to the goal line and stop, I see one of the other guys coming, and i shoot it, it bounces right off his stick and into the net, just how i planned :D

In a drop in game, I got the puck near the my blue line and I see some one streaking down the right side so I feather a long and slow pass (hail mary type) so all the guy has to do is beat the defender and get the puck near the cirlce but to my surprise the defenseman is a bit back chasing the streaker and dives at the puck which he would have had a nice breakaway. I say "sheeeeEe..." so figured the defenseman deflected the puck out of harms way but at the same time the goalie also came out to try to get the puck too but the deflected puck went into the net. Wow! Longest goal I ever scored!!:) But it is just drop in but gave me a laugh. Ragged the dman a bit.

Not a fancy goal but in the final game in overtime, I basicly when coast to coast on the other teams bad line change, the was only one D-man left and I deaked him cros body and walked in on the goalie and beat him roof on the back hand...

That was a great feeling to see everyone rush me to celabrate.... shortly lived because I almost died under the pillup :D

My first goal. I was on the left side almost at the goal line. My center was barrelling through the slot. I shot it as hard and as low as I could at the net. The goalie was playing for a pass, went to slide left and the puck bounced in off of his left skate into the net.

Same spot....chucked it on goal, bounced off of the left inside ankle of the D man, off the crossbar and in.

Drinking out of the goalies bottle has to be the biggest badass move ever. Its really great when someone scores, hits the bottle and catches its then takes a drink.

- Puck went into the corner behind hte goal line. I skated hard into the corner and threw the puck on net. It went off the goalie's skate and in.

- I was screening the goalie. The opposing defenseman gives me a check to the back and I go down on my knees a few feet in front of the crease. My teammate shoots from the blue line... the puck slides along the ice and I just shovel the puck behind me (my back is still facing the net). I turn around and see the puck loose but everyone doesn't move then my teammate comes up to me saying that I scored.

Now that´s a fun topic...I can think of quite a couple nice goals I scored over the years but two especially come into my mind every now and than.

The first one was on a two on one. I came in from the right and crossed to center heading towards their d-man. I dropped the puck to my trailer who just came in over the blue from the left and then I wanted to block the oponent so he could go past him on the right side. He was smart though knocking me of my skates with his stick and then rushing towards my teammate who not had control of the puck, yet. I quickly jumped back up hopeing my guy would reach the puck first and I moved towards the net. They were both swinging at it and somehow the puck bounced into my direction but too far right of the net. When it came down over my head I just got a piece of it with my backhand I slipped it back between my legs while making a 90 degree turn and it went in five-hole. Kind of hard to explain it was cool.

The second one is really hard to explain. I was on a breakaway and I was skating in from left to right (I am a righty btw) pulling some stickfakes and dekes as if yould go left side any moment. While closing in I then reached out my stick far right with only my right hand on it when I was already really close to the goal line hoping he would go left and I could just slide it past him onehanded to his right but he had a pretty good coverage low and followed through. I did not have enough control to lift the puck with just one hand as I was already almost out of position and he still covered the short so well. I then pulled the puck across to the left and slighty back. Then I stepped onto breaks really hard turned inwards (back to the net) I only got the tip of my blade on the ice (left side) and while falling over his legs backwards I lifted the puck high into the left of the net. that looked massive as I was told :D

I also once scored a slapper from my own blue line while beeing shorthanded. I just fired a high slapshot and obviously their goalie wasn´t prepared. The puck then sank pretty quickly and went right between his pads. But wasn´t really my skill. :P

I scored a couple of nice goals from behind the net as well. Moving left to right a couple of times until the goalie got a little confused and then just lifted it sligthly over the crossbar from behind and off his back or stick into the net.

I'm a new (3 year) player in a mixed skill beer league so any time I'm involved in a goal, it's pretty sweet to me..

My first goal: I was in the low slot to the left of the goalie and my center circled around behind the net towards my side. I backed away from my defender while he was watching the puck and my teammate passed it to me. I received it on my BH, moved it quickly to my FH and flipped it about two inches above the goalie's glove..

My prettiest goal: I was in a 2-on-2. My center & I were crossing the offensive blueline on the right side of the rink (I was towards the middle, he was towards the right side boards) and his defender poked it away from him. It came to my side, and I poked at it, pushing it in between my defenders skates. I poked at it again, and it went through his legs. I kept my legs driving the whole time, so I had enough of a speed advantage to have the puck to myself against the goalie just to the left side of the faceoff dot. I knew that I had to shoot quick and high because the goalie was coming out to cut off my angles. It caught a piece of his shoulder, and plunked around in the top-right corner of the net before going into the back..

My other prettiest goal (that didn't count): At the end of one period, we were putting some pressure on our opponents. One of thier D-men tried to ice the puck. It went off one of their guys shinguards and came right to me in the high-slot on my forehand. My back was to the net, and I knew that there wasn't enough time to turn, so I just let it fly without even looking. It zipped past the goalie and beat him clean on his glove side. Unfortunately, the horn went off right as the puck was coming off of my stick, so I knew that it wasn't even close to counting.

My prettiest assist: Again, I'm a pretty weak player so I rarely carry the puck for more than a stride or two. This time though, the D-man on my side pinched, but I poked the puck past him and took off. It turned into a nice 2-on-1. I was ready to fire a backhand, but the goalie came out to challenge early and the defender was cheating over to me a little, too. I slipped it between his skates and my center had and easy slam-dunk goal.

The assist I'm most proud of: We were playing the juggernaut, practically unbeatable team and getting spanked as usual. Towards the end of a period, one of their best D-men was retreiving a dump-in. I pressured him hard and ended up poking the puck away from him. I hacked the puck blindly towards the middle of the ice, and it ended up right on the stick of my teammate. He fired a wrister from the high slot right past the helpless goalie. I don't have much skill, so I try to make up for it with hustle. Whenever that hustle turns into a turnover or bothering of a much better player, I'm really happy. When that turnover turns into a scoring chance or even a goal, it's that much better..

I've never been known as a pretty or finesse player..but have had some luck...

roller - back when i was in Tampa..getting hit up on the boards i sort of fall forward..puck is in the air..somehow its my skate..winds up in front of me just as i regain balance..go in and score..

ice -i don't know if any of them have been pretty..lots of ones from 2ft in front while getting knocked on my a$$..but the one i scored in a charity game while Anderson, Kasatonov, Driver were one the ice..short side..top shelf...was almost as good as having beers with the guys after..

First time I scored the 360 michigan and slid head first into the goal after i whipped out, twas sweet. haha :D. It was just pick up though, im not dumb enough to try that in a game, well sometimes.
