Tps R2...the feel was insane....The durability wasnt though....Lasted me about 2.5 months which is NOT long for me when most of my blades last 6 months

I like the Inno and the new Christian tapered comp beats any of the others that I've tried. It's not quite as good in terms of feel as the 2004 but they seem to be a little more durable so far.

Chadd,

Christian makes a comp. tapered blade now? I know you mentioned tapered woods, and Ive seen some pros on the Blues with them (Drake, Salvador) but comps are available for retail? How do I get my hands on some?

Yes, Christian makes composite blades, theyre just like the Harrow ones and the only place I've seen them for sale was at the Marvin windows home shop thing in Warroad.

They made them last year but we didn't stock any of them. They sent me a demo and I loved it. The new ones aren't exactly the same but they're still better than a lot of others.

What hand and curve? I have a ton of them if you can't find a local dealer.

Yeah I'd take some if you think they're worth it. LH, Modo clone. Although I'm leaning towards switching with something that has more of a toe curve, round toe, 5 or 5.5 lie.

That sounds like their Recchi clone. 1/2" toe 5.5 lie. I have Modano, Recchi and Iggy 3/8 mid 5 lie in quantity and a couple Drury in each hand. PM me as I don't want to jack this post completely.

Out of the list, the Bauer XV.

I agree - plus, doesn't Inno make some of Bauer's comp. blades?

Make that 3 for XV but I loved my L-2's the best out of anything.
