Marcus Ragnarsson(sp), Alexei Zhamnov, Vladmir Malakhov are all playing out their careers in Europe, although the Flyers are pretty much begging Malakhov to come back

I'm suprised a guy like Bob Clarke would like to have a guy who would rather go sking then play hockey on his team. Zhamnov? This guy has so much talent but he just never seemed to use it? Maybe the European game suits him better.

He just didn't floruish enough, period. Even with Jeremy Roenick, who were old teammates

What's the word on Scott Stevens? I hope he comes back for one more year.

He's been embarassing himself for a few years. I hope he retires, for his own good.

Winning 3 Stanley Cups in an 8 year span isn't that embarassing. He's also one of the most devastating hitters in the NHL. Ask Kozlov, Lindros, Francis and Kariya.

Didn't they play together on Chicago?

Nope, I think that was the trade Roenick for Zhamnov right before the Jets moved to Phoenix.

Stevens was never and never will be an embarrasment to the NHL hes one of the best. Hes probably the hardest hitting and knowledgeable defensemen in the NHL.

I'd say he's more of a cheap shot artist that gets away with murder. At best a lot of his hits are borderline.

Mills and Zhamnov for Roenick if I remember correctly

Correct. Roenick for Zhamnov, Mills and the Coyotes 1997 1st rounder who turned out to be Ty Jones at #16 overall.

I was orignally thinking Kilger was part of the deal but he was part of another deal.

Yes, they dealt Carney an Cummins to PHX for Kilger. Well I still don´t see why the Hawks made all those crappy trades in the 90´s. Damn it...took them almost 10 years to get back on track......partially that is.
