The sad truth is I drink Coke a few times a week and I easily passed a taste test while blindfolded between the two. Which leads into another question.

Has anyone else noticed there is a different taste for Coke at Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy's, In-N-Out, Carl's Jr and others. That makes no sense, since they are theoretically using the same box of syrup, but they obviously dial the mix differently. For instance, I also put Dr. Pepper in Coke at BK, while I find the Coke at McD's needs to become watered by ice before I like its taste.

Again, the sad truth is it's one of my vices.....

The taste is most certainly different at Wendy's. They put so much ice in their pop its ridiculous.

Never really thought about it but i guess your right. They do mix diffrently and taste a little diffrent. Anyways of the little pop I drink I think Id barely put coke over pepsi.

I'm all about the Coke. I only drink at my buddies cause I dont bother buying it but thats all I drink there. I hate the taste of Pepsi if it isn't ICE cold.

I only drink soda at restaurants and I usually go with Dr. Pep or that stinking rut beer. If I have to go with cola, I prefer Pepsi.

McD's uses a different mix. I worked at one in HS and I recall the owner telling me that they did their own research and found a mix the public liked more than the one Coke suggests. McD's also have a policy of cleaning the fountain heads every night that helps improve the taste as well.
