Do NHL players come to this site?

Recommended Posts

Dany Roussin of Rimouski, posts on RBK Forum. It would be cool if that was really him but I kinda doubt it.

I also recall a couple of guys claiming to be Perry post a while ago.

Kari Lehtonnen should be ready to take over.

That was the plan anyway, Nurminen was going to be the backup.

Hopefully they are not snickering at our lack of knowledge.  :)

Trust me, a lot of pros have no idea what they're using.

Why does that remind me of the stories we heard at Vinnie's in TO? ;)

Not only that, I've been part of a NHL Training Camp and saw it firsthand.

#7 is Brendan Morrison. He's the uncelebrated centre on the Bertuzzi and Naslund line. Actually, most of the Canucks wear Eagle gloves. The rep must have an in or something!

Then again, one of those pics has a few of the Canucks hanging outside a store called Ed K Ice Sports.  Perhaps they were getting their skates sharpened  :D

That photo is from outside Floyd Hall Arena at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. The Canucks had just finished practice. Alot of NHL teams will practice at FHA when they are in metro NYC for NYI, NYR, NJD games. All practices are usually open to the public. I saw the Leafs there a few years ago during the play-offs with the Devils. Sometimes all the players are there, sometimes its an optional skate and half the guys just sleep in at the hotel.

When Mario or one of the big names is there, they do get a little bit tougher on access. But that happens just about anywhere.

You'll notice on a lot of teams that a number of players will follow the choices of a star or two on their team. For years Pittsburgh was basically team Koho, Gretzky had a good portion of Edmonton wearing those useless helmets, and there are a ton of other examples that you could find.

yeah, you're absolutely right JR.

to add to JR's comment , I just saw on TV Scott Stevens with a shaft and a blade but the shafts on the wrong side I mean the graphics are not on the good side. Could you imagine that I mean come on he plays in the NHL, talk about someone who doesn't care much of his tools.
