I hope those practice jerseys are not a precursor of things to come.  Ice hockey jerseys need horizontal stripes.  It's the law!

I'm told by a red wings scout that the 3'rd jersey this year will be way different! RBK design.

I like the logo on the neck line. Obviously first run, as the logo goes the wrong way...

Forget the Euro cut jerseys. I like the original CCM Centre Ice Practice Jerseys. Change the CCM to RBK and add the NHL logo to the neck and I'd be happy.

Jury's still out on the striping. Gotta see other teams/colors to decide I guess.

He said he heard it from an equipment manager. That's all the info I have. We were talking about RBK and how I wanted to wait before ordering NHL apparel till the new designs came out. I didn't want to get stuck with older NHL crap.

i think they look really cool, i think that the jersey looks very different. I think if jerseys look somehwhat like this in the regular season itll make the game more appealing. jereys look boring except there 3rd jerseys. if the 3rd jersey was more traditional and the other 2 were more visually appealing it could attract more attention. just look at european hockey and there fans they love the jerseys wearing them around and cheering.

That would make a huge difference in ratings as there's no way they would cut to a commercial to make money when they could show someone clean the glass.

The only 3rd jersey the wings should pull out is one from the late 1920's, as the Detroit Cougars. The 'retro thing' is still acceptable.

Yeah most teams have them now. Tampa Bay had the Ice Girls and they would get a couple of kids from local youth hockey associations to shovel the ice.

The Yotes' just had figure skaters do it during tv timeouts, etc. before the lockout. Now a couple of my buddies will be helping out. Every once in a while they'd have the local HOOters girls come out.

Why do people call those jerseys "Euro style"? I'm in Europe and no teams here (in Sweden anyway, don't know about the other countries) use that style, they all use traditional style jerseys (usually of brands like CCM/RBK or Bauer/Nike, some use SP too I think). I guess these practice jerseys look more like soccer jerseys in a way though but that's another story.
