Thinnest shaft dimensions

Recommended Posts

The Sr Inno 1100 shaft I just got has very thin dimensions. It's about the same, if not a little thinner, then my old pro radius TPS Rubber. I'm not sure what shape it is, but it is thin.

Edit: The Inno isn't very square though.

Inno have 4 or 5 different shaft shape, which one did you have/had?

The 0 is only slightly larger than a Cylone and the same shape. I had a 5 and a 24 and they were both fairly standard size and more of a traditional shape.

salming if you have the right...how much do cost a composite stick(OPS) to make??

or if any know...maybe big compagny cost less because they make ''mass-production''

It's interesting, cobrAA, because the larger companies definitely have lower production costs, because the quantities being produced are so much greater. Conversely, however, they have a lot more overhead than the smaller companies, such as for building, salaries, travel.

I think it evens out.

Edit: Talking about Salming. I saw one of their OPS for the first time today and must say I am impressed. The blades looked ultra thin (which I like) and the guy fired some solid shots (which he usually can´t  ) Got to get a closer look next time

SR27, where did you see the stick? And was it the orange or lime OPS?

Perhaps he has one from my last order that "mysteriously" disappeared en-route to me. SR27, you wouldn't by chance work for FedEx would you, hmmmm. ;)

I do work in logistics but not for FedEx ;) It was blue and what I gathered from the website the TF2 is the only blue stick. So thats what it was I guess. Although that is strange because the guy is like 220 pounds and the TF2 is an intermediate stick with a 75 Flex as I take it?

PS: Which one is the top of the line Salming OPS?

You're correct about the TF2 being 75 flex, so it's hard to imagine a 220 pound man using it -- or buying it for that matter. However, a couple of years ago they sold a blue composite called the 2200 (I think.) I wonder if it was that stick.

The top OPS is the TF Evolution, which they are already selling in Europe but I won't have until late November. The only feedback I've had on it is that bit Petey put in another thread that Jonas Hoglund told the media he thought it was a "catapult." I like feedback like that.....

Hmn. I think that Salming stuff is only available here in Germany since earlier this year so I´m pretty sure it is not one of those older models. Well, the guy probably doesn´t even know what the flex rating means. But since he is rather small as well I think he cut off quite a bit making it a 85 or 90 flex B) Just checked for the TF Evolution but I can´t seem to find the german dealer right now. I think there is only one online store over here at the moment that carries Salming.

I just saw this branches shaft today in a random locker room, and it felt really rounded and narrow. It had the most rediculous taper I've seen on a standard shaft. Forget the name though. It was literally almost an oval. It could have been an int. though although it seemed pretty stiff...

Who's the Red Wing using one of your sticks?

Oh, you saw him? Mikael Samuelsson.

He has two goals in two games, while his career high is eight. It's gotta be the stick.... ;)

I saw the Wings/Blues game last night and they had a shot of the bench and you could see the Salming logo on a white shaft but couldn`t tell who was holding it.........
