TPS Adrenaline Control

Recommended Posts

Has anyone seen any online? Whats the grip like? Where can I get one and how much do they cost?

Best grip on a domestic made stick TPS has done. Only took them 4 years, but, they did it. LMAO!

The TPS rep told me they probably won't be delivered until November.

The grip is very thin and not a heavy plastic coating like on other sticks.

Price will most likely be a couple bucks more than the standard Adrenaline.

Nice stick, I'll probably try one out when we get ours.

what do you mean by plastic grip?? anyways if it is very thin...would this mean a grip that will last 10 game??is it like the soft grip?

It's not like the heavy layer of plastic that you get on most grip sticks now. It doesn't look like it will peel, I don't think it possibly could peel. Just wait a couple weeks and you will see it for yourself when they start showing up in stores.

Are the graphics better chadd?

The black with green looks better to me. Everyone who saw it liked it a lot more than the regular adrenaline. I don't know what it is about the color/graphics of the original one but almost everyone hated the look. The first comment was either "looks cheap" or "looks heavy", very strange to have almost universal dislike of a product based on its looks.

I really liked the XN10. Too bad the blade didn't hold up longer (got "soft" earlier than I would have liked). I've been waiting to go through my stick supplies, but was going to buy the Adrenaline or True1 for my next stick out. Now, I guess I'll try the Adrenaline grip. Maybe the blade will have been improved by then (longevity wise).....

Which TPS blade is closest to the Drury? I checked the pattern DB, but couldn't find any with the same specs as the Drury. Are Tkachuck and Morrow the closest?

Morrow is probably as close as you'll find unless you see a P19. Tkachuk is a Modano clone.

Perry as in Corey of the Ducks? Jeez, the guy has one good season in the AHL and he gets an endorsement deal?

I was thinking Steve. What about Crosby, Daigle and Tzachuk or whatever his name was that had them before they were in the show.

Yeah I guess you're right...but Daigle and Crosby had a large element of hype surrounding their pre-big show entries. So they have a certain amount of bankable exposure to their play and thus their equipment...but Steve Perry? Is he that good?

I'm guessing this "Steve" Perry is some kind of inside joke?

Well I've seen some Ducks games, he's not bad. But I don't see where he gets off gettin a pattern.

But then again, Morrow and Tucker got them. Bums.

I'm going to pretend I didn't hear anyone question how good Steve Perry is.

But I almost forgot the biggest over-hyped turd of a pattern: The Brendl. Which by no coincidence sounds like "the grundle."

Haha.

Yeah Lville definately has a history of picking some strange people for its patterns.

I mean, Bertuzzi has been TPS for awhile now. Stamp his name on one...it just wouldn't sell well in Colorado.

OHL-London. Sorry bout that. 130 pts in 60 games isn't too shabby. I could be wrong about this kid.
