One Goal Hockey Show - Boston - 1/7/06 - 1/9/06

I was wondering if anyone was planning on going to the One Goal Hockey Show in Boston being held January 7 - 9, 2006?

Any thoughts on this show?

Based on the exhibitor list, it will have the larger manufacturers displaying.

We had to decide which show would provide the better bang for the buck, and my guess is the Boston show will have more retailers attending, particularly from Canada and Europe.

This show is structured to be an "industry" show -- manufacturers and retailers.

There will be a better show for comsumers to attend in the Boston area (actually Worcester) in late March: Hockey Expo New England. This will be more interactive, with shooting games, autograph signings, etc.

Even on that form, you need to have some sort of credential to get in, ie. Media etc..and they normally will call and discuss what you are planning to do, if they see you just running around and playing with stuff, it will be the quickest waste of $100 you've had

I am so glad they have a show close by this year. I just can't break free to go to Vegas. I had been going to Toronto show, but that was a road trip! Boston will be Sooooo nice. I've seen the exhibitor list for Vegas, not impressive.

Remember, what happens in Boston, stays in Boston. :D Sogaduch, we're taliking about you!

BTW, anyone who's going, if you like Chinese food, you got to take the drive to Methuen, about 35 minutes from Boston, and go to the China Buffet on Rt 28. Un-fn-believable!

In Toronto there were a bunch of kids running around grabbing everything and a couple were taking pictures of everyone and everything. Thank god it was later in the day when that happened but it was annoying to be looking over equipment and talking with someone only to get pushed out of the way for some "tourist" with a digicam. O remember talking about it with JR, then seeing some of the pics on corebeam later that day.

Dad was a Celtics fan while I was growing up. We made a lot of trips to Boston, many in March. ;) I really miss the garden.

Nope, "China Buffet". Right off Rt 213 on Rt 28 . 93 North to 213, fdirst exit is Rt 28. Rt 28 north about 2 blocks. This place is amaxing. For $12 you get hundreds of choices. They have a sushi bar buffet, the guy rollls the stuff right there for ya. Roast Duck, . they have a mongoliann grill and will stir fry whatever you want, plus so much regular chinese food, crab legs, wow! Always fresh, always hot, super tasty. Not to mention the "american" food buffet. Then for desert, your choice of hard ice cream and more. They do have a salad bar, but honestly, I've NEVER made it over there. :D
