Kovalev was definitely the best player on the ice tonight. Kovalev would've scored on his first shift of the game if Chara didn't hook him (which was called by the ref). If Montreal wasn't short handed for like 6 minutes in a row at the end of the first and beginning of the second and Souray didn't spot the Sens a goal Montreal would've never had to come from behind or even worry about OT. In the end though the comeback was more dramatic.

I am going to the caps/habs game here in DC on thursday. I have to say, I am looking forward to it.

I am even happier that Kovalev will be in the lineup. I still hope the caps thump them, but I am looking forward to seeing the game regardless of the result

Lets just hope that Koivu, Bonk, Zednick and Theo come back real soon. It`s been a long time that we haven't seen the full Habs lineup. At one point the whole first line was missing. But looks like the spirit is comming back, some said that when Kovy got his 700th point in the NHL there was an playoff ambiance in the building. And when the won the shootout, it was comparable to the time when Koivu came back after his cancer treatments.

I watched the game last night on RDS and all I can say is wow!, what a great game. I am biased, being a Habs fan, but it would have been enjoyable for any hockey fan to see. Kovalev was amazing. 4 on 4 overtime between these two teams is always awesome. The atmosphere at the Bell Centre did seem to be playoff like during the comeback. It was so loud you could barely hear the announcer at times.

I was thrilled with the game last night but untill we get the other 2/3 of the 1st line back and are goalie I'm not sure how much longer the Habs can rely on one player. Not to mention Plekanec their most consistent rookie to date is out for a month as well as other players nursing day to day injuries.
