I don't know which phone I should buy. They are both going to cost the same amount so thats not a factor. Let me know what you think and also if you have first hand experience with the blackberry...I have played around with a razr a lot. Or if you think there is a better phone that does all the same stuff then let me know. Thanks ladies and gents.

I think it depends how you plan to use it. If you will take advantage of all the features (E-mail, browser, Planner etc...) the BB is a great tool. I'm not totally familiar with that model, but I know poeple with them...and they do EVERYTHING. But if all you do is make/receive phone calls...it's a little overblown.

Razr looks cool. Camera is nice. I don't know if it has all the bells & whistles BB has (I assuem it has browser & e-mail capabilities), but if you mainly need a phone, I'd go Razr.

BB may not have e-mail anymore, they are being sued.

I too have a Razr (Black) and think it's one of the best phones i've used. Now my step dad has BB and loves it but if your not a business man that needs to have email 24/7 or an email junky I think that you would be better of with the Razr.

They claim they have a backup system ready to be implemented if the lawsuit goes through.

I have a LG 6190, I like it because i can acess my email on the road, and its very easy to use with the keypad with letters and numbers alone.

I beg to disagree^^^... It might not look that good when you have it on the phone but when it's on your computer it looks great.

I dunno, I'd rather have a regular phone because at work they gave some of us iPAQs and I feel like a chimp trying to use it, so I'm recommending Razr out of the two.

Thanks for the replys guys....I'm kinda leaning towards the BB. I do like to access my email and I have my advisor at school who sends emails 24/7 and most are pretty important or they tell you an easy way to get stuff done. And I'm an email junky. I've used a razr and they are cool...but I felt like the novelty wore off on me within a couple days. The email on the razr takes forever to access and it won't access my PPOE mail acount that the BB would.

If you use email or test at all or more than normal and want a FULL contact list available, the web, calendar and ability to take notes, GET THE BB!!! Just more of a phone - anything else... I live on it as I use the test and email, but that can also tick off some of your friends!

I say BB cause my brother got a razer 2 days ago and its actually not even that small. They are really wide and probably the same volume as a regular flip phone.

My roommate has had a Razr for about six months now and he is sick of it. Like you said, the novelty wore off and now its just a regular phone. However, he is a cell phone whore and has had over 10 in the past 4 years.

I have both, actually, i have a razr, the traditional blackberry, and the blackberry 7100. the traditional blackberry is too bulky, i've always had small sleek phones and that thing is just a pain to carry around and i would never wear some clip on my belt for it. i really like the razr though, its got some nice functionality and you can get some good ringtones for it. for a personal cell phone its the best imo.

i use the blackberry 7100 for work and its great, not too big or bulky but it works well for email and surfing the web. If you need to be in constant contact via email and want to surf the web and have IM on, i would say go with the blackberry. but if you want a personal phone that looks good, servers its purpose get the razr.

personally, i am stickin with my treo 650, that phone rules. And Yes, i have 3 cell phones and don;t pay for one of them.

I got the Razr about a week ago. I didn't need all the extras of the BB, I just need a phone! Love the size, can barely tell its in the front pocket of your geans. The black razr is sharp looking too.

Having done a 10 week tour for Motorola earlier in the year, all of us wanted RAZR's to start..but had different phones by the end, although we often used the RAZR at events since it was the high priced status phone..

I have heard through the vine that we could be looking at a RazrBerry type phone in the coming months..

my next phone will likely be a 71xx series BB

The Razr is not as good as every1 says. It looks good and thats about it! I have one at the moment and dont like it that much. Its a phone thats just a phone. If your looking for something that does something other than looking good and making calls go for anything but the razr. "

Nokia phones are much better IMO. Get your self a 6230. MUCH better than the razr and cheaper too! B)
