Mario on a Bar receipt...

I was in busy fighting the Abu Sief group and a friend of mine met him on a connector flight in San Diego. It was funny because Steve (my friend and a former Marine too) didn't know who he was at first untill soemone else came up to him and called him Mr. Lemieux. So Steve tells him I'm am Busy trying not getting killed in the sun - but back home all I talk about is how he was the greatest and not that 99 guy.

So eventually I get home and Steves see's me the day I get back to work and presents me with a signed register receipt.

I confiscated a puck from Teemu Selanne....does that count?

The quick story on that is that I was resurfacing before a Ducks practice, and Selanne decided that he and a teammate that I won't identify would have some fun by passing the puck to each other THROUGH THE CONDITIONER. This went on during the entire cut, so when I finished up and jumped off to touch up the ice closest to the doors, he shot the puck into the accumulated snow. I made a face at him and said "I'm keeping this one!" He seemed fine with it. Of course, before getting suited up originally, he was standing next to the ice listening to some sort of dance music on his iPod and was jamming to it big time.

My wife got me a caps holiday gift pack, which consists of

1 player signed puck (semin, my wife sanctioned allowable mancrush along with ovie)

1 cert of authenticty

2 caps hats

10 game tickets (all up in section 421, except the pens, she got me lower level sec 121 for that game, so crosby will hear of his sucktitude in a genteel irish brogue!!!)

That brings my total to

1 signed ovie puck

1 signed semin puck

(I wasn't looking to get anything signed, but they were in the room with no one there when we went in, and got talking, felt like I had to get them to sign something at that stage since it was an "autograph" station

I got Puppa and Brian Bradley years and years ago. I was at one event when I was 12, and they were letting people shoot, Puppa hopped in the net and I put the orange ball right past him. That's how I got his signature.

i was in denver visiting friends and the flyers were in town. later that night i ended up at a bar that they were in and got a few auto's. the best part is that there was a fan in a flyers jersey that walked right through the bunch of them and didnt recognize any of them. i think they were making fun of that guy
