Warrior Sticks

Recommended Posts

I actually don't like Inno's blades. They chip WAY too easily, and all (6 or 7) of them that I've had, except for one, has chipped on the top and then it got bigger and split down the top. The durability of Inno blades are shit.

That's the reason I switched to RBK 6K's. The blades are just as good feel-wise as Inno but they are much more durable. Not to mention, more readily available in my area. A tapered Dolomite with RBK 6k blade would be a perfect set-up.

You should try the Warriors, though. The experiences I've had so far are far better in terms of blade durability. Huge difference. I can honestly say that Warrior makes the best OPS's these days, IMO, bar-none.

why don't more players in the nhl use the mac-daddy if it is the best one

Each person will determine if it's "the best" on their own. I see alot more ST and SL's than I do Stealths, even though Stealth is supposed to be their top of the line stick.

The new Warrior sticks and the old 1100 Inno's are not the same! The newer Inno blade(Just before the switch) and Warrior's are that checker board pattern on the blade, the older Inno's did not. IMHO the older inno blades were the best I've used!

Please explain your "experiences" with Warriors? Are they even out yet? How long have you used them?

He plays for a team in the EJHL(I think) and they probably can get the stuff earlier than most people.

I have been using both one Starskie, and a batch of custom Dolomites for just about 2 months now.

I have only broken the Starskie. The Dolomites have been tanks, and their performance is at the top of my list. Easily the best OPS I have used as of yet.

OPS's I have used include: Synergy, SL, ST, XN10, Response, Vector, Vapor XX, Vapor XXX, Inno 1100, Inno True 1, Reebok 6K, Stealth, and Response Plus.

EDIT: Yes, I do play in the EJ.

He was using them a while back but was using an 1100 when he started this hot streak so he has probably stuck with Inno for that reason. He still uses the Vapor XX golves as well.

Someone at Warrior told me this is correct - superstition. In fact I think Warrior is still producing 1100's with the Inno paint job just for him.

The islanders only had 1 guy (radek martinek) using a warrior stick this season but within the last week aaron asham, brent sopel, alexei zhitnk, and chris campoli all started using the same style warrior stick

they'll do anything to get the team to get some wins eh?

Anyone know the weight of the Sr Dolomite OPS?

What does a Vapor XX weigh?

it's definately lighter than the XX, Chadd.

And yes, those warrior blade don't chip at all, those old innos were a pain in the ass when they were chipping but it's not the case with the warriors

that reminds me - since a kovy afficianado just posted

what stick is kovalev using now? I know he was an innovative guy along with kovalchuk (even had his own version of their sticks)

If the new Warrior's are the same blades as the True1, then that chipped on me as well. I might try one again after I fully break both of my current Inno's, and when they are out, but I'm still skeptical about the blades' resistance to chips.

It's the same shaft with an Inno blade.

All of my Inno's were balanced better than my XX's making them feel lighter. I think that, mixed with all them pretty colours, are making people assume it's lighter.

Are the shafts concave like the XX?
